Casa Blanca is a newly restored 7-unit apartment building; a stunning union of vintage and modern, period detail and contemporary lifestyle, classic sensibilities and state-of-the-art amenities.
This gorgeous home was originally the owner’s unit at Casa Blanca. Guests use a private interior stairway to ascend to an immaculate apartment that’s been meticulously updated to offer both contemporary comforts and old Hollywood charm. The magic of this home is in the details: French windows, coved ceilings, wood crown moldings, period iron grates on the heat and air conditioning vents, vintage light fixtures and hardware, crystal doorknobs with polished brass hardware, wrought iron curtain bars and more.
This 3-bedroom/2-bath unit is on the second story with southern exposure in every room, filling the space with bright light and fresh air. All of the rooms have lovely treetop views, and both the living room and third bedroom capture a peek of the downtown Los Angeles skyline. The master suite gets beautiful afternoon light and a wonderful cross-breeze, overlooking the courtyard garden, koi fountain and seating area that they can enjoy day and night.
The entire building was recently restored to designer Joseph Mullins’ specifications with a spare-no-expense attention to detail and quality, with too many features to list them all. The interior has the breezy flair and casual style of a weekend house in the Hamptons, with comfortable furniture and stylish decorations. The kitchen is stunning with custom cabinets, granite countertops, under-cab lights, cork floors, Bosche refrigerator, stainless steel stove and dishwasher and even a pot-filler... a true gourmet kitchen. The unit has flat screen TV’s, wireless internet and a stackable washer/dryer.
Casa Blanca is a secluded sanctuary, separated from the bustling city by a dense hedge, but just a short walk from some of Hollywood’s most famous and engaging attractions, like the Walk of Fame, the Pantages Theater and Hollywood/Highland. It’s also within walking distance of many conveniences that will make living in this home so much better than staying in a hotel: restaurants, cafes and coffeehouses, most of the major banks, health clubs, the amazing Arclight movie theater, shopping, nightclubs and many more.
Plus, the central location of the property in Hollywood means guests are just ten-minute drive from great destinations, including world-famous tourist attractions like the Universal Studios and Griffith Park; well-known walk neighborhoods like West Hollywood and Silverlake; and some great local secrets like Larchmont Blvd. and Sunset Junction.
This unit also includes a garage for a small compact car.
