Lovely, three-bedroom lakefront house in Vermilion Ohio. All knotty pine, 2 very large first floor master bedrooms, large dormer upstairs, large front porch, gorgeous kitchen, living room, dining room, play room and bath. Charming, cozy and immaculate.
Located in Beulah Beach.
There is a large play ground for the kids, a gorgeous beach, a brand new swimming pool, basket ball courts, soccer field and a wonderful creek. There are also summer camps for kids of all ages (up to 17). So moms and dads can have a great vacation while the kiddos are having the time of their lives at camp. (For additional information on the summer camp program go to www.beulahbeach.org)
So spend a day at Cedar Point and then head off to the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame and visit the many sites of Cleveland (USS Mather, the USS Cod submarine, the many nightclubs in the Flats by the Cuyahoga River, the Science Museum, or catch an Indians game) (Cleveland really is a great city) and come home to a night of sitting on the porch or at the beach, or take a trip into Vermilion for ice cream. The combinations and possibilities are endless.
Our house offers you days of quiet by the beach, or pool or front porch, with day trips to Vermilion, Sandusky, Huron, Milan, Norwalk, and Cleveland, as well as the Lake Erie Islands. You will have a vacation to remember for always.
Our house is also about 40 minutes from the Cleveland Clinic - and is also a perfect, peaceful place for family members or for the patient' s peaceful recuperation.

We bought our home at the Beulah Beach as our retirement villa business. It is beautiful.
It is a beautiful vacation spot that is also a summer camp - and just made for kids and families and couples and everybody!!!!
My husband and I and our little dog spent several wonderful days in this cottage. Beulah Beach is a small, residential community just outside of Vermillion and has a very nice public park along the Lake which we could easily walk to from the cottage. The cottage is one of the best we have ever rented. It is open and roomy, bright and clean. The furniture and beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is a pleasure to use since it has everything you would need. We felt like pampered guests.
We are a group of ladies who have been friends since grade school. Kate's cabin has become our favorite getaway spot. We have stayed there twice now in the late fall and both weekends were great experiences. There's a cozy fireplace, and we stay up till the early hours, talking. This past year, we had three nursing infants in tow between the seven of us, and the layout is such that we had one baby in each of the separate sleeping areas and were able to keep from disturbing each other. The beds are comfortable, the place is clean. We love the piano, as we have sung together around a piano for years, and it makes the rental feel like "home." We look forward to returning annually, and we almost hesitate to write a review because it feels like our best-kept secret. But Kate is so great to work with, we did it anyway. Thanks for a wonderful getaway, Kate! :)
Wonderful place to stay with children. Our kids loved the big upstairs room with three beds! It was their very own space and even had special touches like little chairs for them to read in. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen in a VRBO. I was nervous at first about only one bathroom, but it ended up not being an issue at all. Especially because the counter is huge with double sinks. And there is a big walk in shower in addition to the shower in the bathtub. It was nice to have a washer and dryer too. And even though the dryer broke right away the owners were so responsive! It was fixed the very next morning, so we didn't miss it at all.
The owners were wonderful, responsive, and helpful. The place was spotless! (and I'm very picky about that - I usually end up cleaning before we settle into a place, but not here!) Not only was the kitchen well stocked, but there were lots of big bath towels, lawn chairs, and even a wagon for hauling stuff to the beach! Plus, after a long drive and arriving late, we were so pleased to find danishes left for us!
Thank you Kate for allowing us to have a much needed, relaxing family vacation!
The oak and maple trees that surround this home made it a wonderful place for our group to enjoy our fall getaway. Originally reticent that the house was not directly on the beach, it ended up being a treat to walk through the charming and very friendly community (one block) to the common property at the Erie lakeshore. We enjoyed the abundant trails on the property and nearby, especially Old Woman Creek. The sunsets were spectacular and it was fun exploring to find "just the right spot" for viewing. The house is as wonderful as the photos lead you to believe and the location between Vermilion proper and Huron is very convenient.
My sisters and I were quite fortunate to locate this property on VRBO. One takes a chance in what quality and care you might find in a rental vacation spot. Other than some confusion on address which Google says to turn on Indiana Ave. but one actually turns on W. Lake Rd. which is the entrance to the Beulah Beach area. Once your enter the site, it becomes Indiana Ave. A minor issue as we were so pleased with our accommodations. They have done and are doing a wonderful updating of the home and it shows great care and pride. The beautiful kitchen is very well stocked with quality items and the bath is full of nice towels and plenty of them. It was nice to have 5 beds even though there were just the 4 of us. We enjoyed the eating area where we often played games after dinner or sometimes used the area by the piano. We did bring our own games but the cupboard is well stocked. I could envision returning with a group of ladies I travel with as we enjoy the experience of cooking dinner, sipping a little wine, in comfortable living places. Kate provided us with coffee, creamer, etc. to get us started which was a thoughtful touch. It was such a positive experience that several discussed the possibility of making it an annual gathering spot. Kate, thank you for your assistance and making it an easy arrangement.
