The Chicken Coop as it is called, got its name because there is a chicken coop on the property (children love checking for eggs and feeding the chickens) and because the bedrooms are upstairs and like the chickens you will roost up high at night. you will find it a step back in time as well, there are antiques in the decor, the master bedroom is very cozy and romantic, the bunk room is across the hall, the children will enjoy hanging out there, a TV and chairs will allow them to hang out and watch a movie . the living area and kitchen are open concept, the kitchen has everything you will need to prepare a meal, complementary tea and coffee are always on hand. the bathroom is spacious and has a tub and shower. we supply dog waste bags and provide a scoop as well and food bowls. there is also a cozy porch with table to sit at and fresh herbs are available to cook with (in season). It is located just off the beaten path and a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants.

We are in a safe zero crime area, very close to Mt Cranmore ski area and 10 minutes from Story Land

Great Get-a-way!!!!!

The Chicken Coop, was simply awesome. My wife, 14 year old and myself spent a few days in North Conway and totally loved this cozy retreat. Minutes away from the main drag was really a plus. The apartment was clean and cozy. Would definitely stay here on future visits.

The Chicken Coop

Our family of four plus our dog had a fantastic holiday at the chicken coop. The location was great close to everything outlet malls, trails for snowshoeing and cross country skiing, Cranmore Mt, North Conway Village, sledding hills and MORE!! Lots of great restaurants and coffee shops.
Dano was super friendly and very helpful on things to do and places to go!!
The chicken coop had everything we needed to make it a home away from home.
If you are headed to North Conway this is the place stay!

Cozy Chalet

We loved our stay at the Chicken Coop. The chalet was very cozy and welcoming. It was quiet and 5 minutes walking from the main road of shopping. My son loved seeing the chickens and even got a few eggs for breakfast. Our dog loved the stay as well! We look forward to coming back.

Chicken Coop

My husband & I just left the "Chicken Coop". Let me start by saying it was PERFECT! We were looking for a little relaxing getaway & that is exactly what we got. You can expect to get what you see by the photos. It was exact. The only thing missing was the wonderful aroma that hits you when you open the door. The place was so clean & the decor was so cute. The owner, Dan, was down to earth & so easy to talk to.

The location was better than I expected. We were right up the street from local shops, restaurants & the Conway Scenice Railway.

I would highly recommend this to family & friends anytime. We cannot wait to return.

Absolutely PERFECT stay!

My boyfriend and I had stayed here for three nights in October, the scenery was beautiful but what made it even more magical was our stay at the chicken coop!

Although it was just my boyfriend and I staying here, there was enough room for a small family of maybe four or five, and it is dog friendly. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with enough space for each of our things.

The location was key, being about a 5 minute (tops) walk to many shops and restaurants. There was a short drive out to many trails and state parks including Diana's Baths, which was extremely convenient. The home was beautiful, being fully equipt with pots, pans, silverware, towels, fresh homemade soaps, and ANYTHING you could possibly need. There was a brand new television and iphone dock which was perfect to watch a Sunday night football game, and listen to some music while cooking dinner. The bed was actually very comfortable and I fell asleep in two seconds, which doesn't happen very often on a vacation!

One major thing that I loved about this place is that our stay was STRESS FREE! There was no rush on anything, and we had enough time to get comfortable, and to leave at a convenient time for us, as well as the owner, who was very very nice. We will definitely be returning again, and would highly recommend the "Chicken Coop"!
