Very beautiful home in a beautiful area! Very close to Squaw/Alpine/Homewood ski resorts. Hot tub was wonderful. Updated everything in the home. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Liz was very nice and helpful with questions regarding the property. Also enjoyed the bottle of wine when we got there. I highly recommend this home to anyone!

Awesome rental for families with children

My wife and 20 month old son recently stayed at this property for 5 days, and the best compliment that I can pay is that we can't wait to come back. This cabin is a beautiful Lake Tahoe escape, exceptionally well maintained, and extremely friendly to those visitors with young children. Liz, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful - from setting up the reservation to leaving out child-safe gates for us prior to our arrival. The house is fully stocked with all of the necessities that you will need for a relaxing stay, including an overwhelming supply of toys and games that helped to keep our little one constantly occupied during our stay. If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay for your Tahoe vacation, then look no further. This is your spot.

Lovely home, highly recommend

We came up for a girl's weekend over President's Day. The house was extremely clean and well taken care of. It had very nice towels, dishes, and other amenities that make it one of the nicer rentals I've stayed in. It's a very quiet neighborhood but still close to town. I would say the hill would have been a bit daunting had there been a lot of snow since I don't have 4 wheel drive, so keep that in mind in the winter. The owner was very responsive, left us a welcome gift basket, and returned our cleaning deposit within a week. I hope to stay there again!

A nice place to stay

Stayed in this house for 1 week and it was perfect. Was very clean and modern inside. The owners definitely take pride in giving the renters a nice place to stay. Receeived my secuirty deposit back within a couple days from my departure. The house is on a corner, but it is on a quiet residential neihborhood with hiking trails within walking distince. I have rented a few properties from VRBO and this one was far and away the most cared for. You will not be dissappointed.

Fantastic House!

We had a wonderful stay and could not have been happier. This is a perfect house for two families with young children. The photos are good but in person the house is even more beautiful. It was very clean and well maintained. The owners are great and very helpful. This house is so kid-friendly with tons of fun toys, books, and everything imaginable. We even found a baby gate and safety rail for the bed in the closet. We can't tell you how much we appreciated all the attention to detail and amenities. Every time we wanted something, we found it! The heat lamp on the deck with an extra propane tank is just one example. The bunk room was awesome for our four kids (ages 2, 3, and two 5-year olds). The climbing wall was quite the draw (with adult supervision of course!) The deck was gorgeous and we ate all our meals out there.

We loved the location on the West Shore but close to Tahoe City. We ate at Garwoods near Kings Beach and Sunnyside (just down the hill). Both are amazing restaurants with gorgeous decks overlooking the lake. We went to Kings Beach and the LTPA beach - both great though very different. (Kings Beach was huge and sandy; the private beach was small and rocky.) At both beaches we were able to rent stand-up paddleboards. We hiked just up the street off Big Pine Dr.

I would highly recommend this property!
