In Tune With Nature
Moose with 2 calves, doe with 2 fawns, and two squadrons of baby mallards were the visitors we saw from our private dock on the canal and the adjacent marsh island. The quarters are close and if you have more than three people, then this bungalow might not be for you. The full size bed upstairs in the loft can sleep two. The folded out futon in the loft is not comfortable for anyone. The downstairs futon will sleep one, but once folded out there is no real room downstairs. Sleeping four comfortably in this rental is a stretch. Tub/shower in the bath, but beware the sink and toilet are designed for wee little people. The kitchen is small but well appointed for a short stay. No storage area for supplies in the kitchen. Two bar seats at the counter top and there is a small table at which to eat, but navigating to it can be difficult at times. Plenty of chairs on the decks, but the table is missing its' glass top.
The bungalow is the sister to the main house which looks much more spacious. If you only need a spot in which to branch out to activities, this is a great choice. The neighborhood is remote and quiet, and the drive to CDA is less than ten minutes. Ideal location if you have a boat for your small group with the private dock. We will definitely come back to the area, but will most likely look for a slightly larger house.
