Summer Deal!Historic Waterfront Cottage w/Pool&Deck (BR1)

The property was beautiful - there is no denying it. We loved it from the moment we walked in. The location was awesome. The most disappointing part of the vacation was the jacuzzi. We were only able to use it 2 out of the 7 days of our stay - EXTREMELY disappointing.

During our stay the weather was cold, very cold and my husband and I were really bummed we could not take advantage of the main feature of the property that we had been looking forward to. Prior to our vacation, I had bragged endlessly and shamelessly to all my co-workers about how I would be sipping Daquri's every morning & night in the jacuzzi - fat chance.

Since this was our first vacation ever, it was a real let down. We also got the impression the rental company did not believe us that we were continually having issues getting the jacuzzi to work - not cool. In the end they did provide us with a $150 refund and offered us $100 + 10% off our next stay so we did received a little compensation, however, it's not about the money it's about the vacationing experience we will never get back.

And as I mentioned, it was our first vacation. We have a large family and cannot afford to fly down to Florida whenever we want. So, I would have rather had the jacuzzi working because in mind that was supposed to be the highlight of my trip. Otherwise, the house was nicely furnished but a TRUE disappointment if you envision yourself sitting in the jacuzzi most the time.

I would hope if this should happen to guests in the future, the company would offer more compensation. Not necessarily money but a second chance to have the expereince you want - perhaps 1/2 off or a free weekend. Something that offsets the cost of flying down again. And then you have customers lining up to come back after they've had a bummer expereince.
