Great Place

As described in the listing, the place was great. The pictures in the listing were nothing, compared to seeing it in person. The interior of the home is well furnished and decorated, and has large spacious rooms. The kitchen is well stocked with all the items anyone would need to prepare any sort of meal, from a light snack to a lavish meal, just provide the groceries. In the bathrooms, the showers are the main attraction, they are very large, with several shower heads in each. The upper and lower screened rooms provide the perfect place to sit and watch the sunrise, and wildlife. The pool is really nice, though at the time of our visit was a bit cool. A covered pavilion provided a great place to cook out on the gas grill, with plenty of outdoor furnishings to accommodate a crowd. There is a small dock that we fished from, but a boat is the best way to enjoy the lake and fish. Eagles, hawks, and osprey, were seen regularly flying overhead, while heron's stalked fish from docks and banks. Occasionally, small alligators could be seen swimming by. We only had one issue, the air conditioner stopped working, but with a call to the owner, it was repaired almost immediately. Dan, the owner, was very polite and attentive to our needs. We usually visit the theme parks on our vacation, but found this to be a lot more relaxing and enjoyable. If it's theme parks you want though, they're only about an hour to an hour and a half away. Restaurants are few, but nice. There is a small grocery store about six miles away, with surprisingly good looking meats, and low prices. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family, and am planning to return next year.
