Fabulous Family Vacation

We went to Maine this year for the first time with another family. Between our families there were four adults and four children. The size of the house was just right for us. There was plenty of common area rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen and dining area was great for cooking and sitting down to family meals. The boys enjoyed the outside space and playing in the woods. The proximity to town was perfect, we were able to enjoy walks into town in the afternoon to visit the shops, or could walk to the grocery store for a quick staple. We appreciated staying in the more quite area away from all the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor, but it was a quick drive to the great shops, boats and restaurants. The location of the house was central for our trips to Bar Harbor, Jordon Pond, Cadillac Mountain, Bass Harbor, Echo Beach, Golfing, etc. We will definately return...we ran out of time for all the wonderful things to do!
