Sometimes describing the characteristics of a home falls short of capturing the essence. The specifics of this property are simple: the home is 2,315 square feet on one level with a 12,000 sq. ft. private yard with pool steps away from some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. There are 4 Bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, with one bedroom and bath separated from the others. The home has recently been remodeled and updated. The kitchen is lovely with granite counters,Viking range, subzero refrigerator, and large butcher block island. The Living and Dining rooms have over 30 feet of french doors and windows to connect one to the the large backyard with huge fifty year-old sycamore trees and a lush lawn. The entire property is fenced, including the front yard.

What is not easy to describe is the feeling that the property exudes. There is a wonderful quality of tranquility and peace - privacy and refuge. You feel as if you are in your own world. Rest from your cares in the backyard on comfortable club chairs, or sit by the fire in the living room, or simply relax in your own private pool (9' x 16').

All of the furnishings in the home are new. All of the beds and high-thread count linens are new. There are new smart LCD TV's in the Living room (47') and Master Bedroom (42'); each have apps to view Netflix streaming movies and listen to Pandora music. The home is casually furnished with taste and comfort in mind.

This beautiful home is a very short 3 1/2 minute walk to a private beach club, which is part of the development. It is very convenient to have bathrooms, hot showers, and beach furniture. There are also two private tennis courts that are dedicated to the the residences. 2 minutes from the home are small shops, market, and even a Starbucks --

This home was conceived as a high-end, gracious rental. You will fall in love and never want to leave.

Property is fantastic! We stayed 3 nights and would have loved to stay longer! The location is great just a short walk to the beach and to the Starbucks for coffee! The house is open and airy with great light. The french doors that open up into the yard were kept open most of the day. We loved the open lay out of living room dinning room with the fireplace breaking it up. Even though we didn't need it we used the gas fire every night! made it feel cosy! Kitchen was clean and easy to use with almost everything you need. There was plenty of room, and the bedrooms and baths were all clean and spacious. The small pool in the yard is kept hot all the time and it's in a great corner where the sun hits most of the day. We spent lots of time hanging out there!

We had a wonderful relaxing stay and would definitely stay at this property again.

Such a Great Vibe

From the minute my family of five entered the house we knew we were on vacation. The house gives off such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere we felt right at home. The two most important things for my kids were the pool and the ping pong table. But for my husband and I, we loved everything else, the comfortable furnishings, the soft linens, the wonderful backyard and the proximity to the beach. Having a big family, I of course cooked every night in the well stocked, beautiful kitchen...it was great.
Robert was so helpful in all aspects of this rental. It was our first time using VRBO and what a great experience it was. Thank you Robert for all your help, your information and good beach tips. It was a wonderful few days escape from our daily kid routine. Hope we can come back soon!

Restful, Relaxing, Refreshing

This home is the perfect getaway for family or friends, whether your coming from out of town or are just getting out of L.A. for a few days. We came here for rest and relaxation. From the moment we entered this home we were in love with it. The house is beautiful, decorated with great taste and flair, comfortble, flooded with soft light and sparkling clean. French doors line the living room and open onto the beautiful garden with mature trees and heated swimming pool. The house is also close to great seafood restaurants, the beach, and hiking - but once you've settled into the house, you may not want to go out at all. It was so peaceful and beautiful. Quiet and relaxing quick getaway

Wish we could have stayed longer. Property was just the right size for my wife and I who were celebrating our anniversary with a short trip away from the kids. Rooms had plenty of light, and the layout was open.
Robert was extremely helpful and accommodating to our travel schedule, even pointing out a nice "secret" public beach that we enjoyed walking.
Loved the heated/jetted pool (great for wading and relaxing) and the soaking tub. Master bed was just how we like it (not too firm, not too soft) and house was extremely clean. Neighborhood was very quiet (except for the occasional car passing through -- house was on the corner of a 4-way stop) and dark at night (so you could enjoy the stars overnight). We didn't stay long enough to enjoy the kitchen, but I loved the setup and would have enjoyed cooking in there.

Definitely would visit again!

Could not have had a more comfortable stay

Our family of four had an amazing four night Malibu stay. This house has a unique simple quality which the photos can't quite capture. The interior was clean, well designed and appointed. The living room gas fireplace and heated pool made the cool mornings of February even more comfortable in an easy flat layout making the backyard easily accessed and enjoyed. Beds were very comfortable and clean. The yard is quiet and private with beautifully established Sycamore trees and friendly landscaping. Walked to the beach, played tennis every morning at the nearby well managed courts, and hung out in the backyard pool, was our routine. Made a pilgramage to Johnny Carson's last home (big fan), ate at Geoffrey's(very Malibuish). The owner is very hospitable and maintains the house in immaculate condition. We have stayed in many VRBO properties in the past and give the property our highest recommendation and hope to return soon.
