Owned by Eagle Nests Homes, a family investment My name is Liviu Marhao and I am the builder and part owner of the house. In 2006 I took a trip to Mountain Air and our family fell in love with the location. We decided that this is the perfect place to build a retreat for our family. I combinde my many years of expertise in building custom homes with advanced technologies with the passion of designing and building this retreat to last for generations. Hundreds of hours were spent in research and 18 months in supervising the project, giving much attention to overall quality, choice of materials, architectural details and the highest level of craftsmanship. Beautiful spacious vacation home

My family along with three other families spent a weekend in this beautiful home! It was truly a great time had by all and would definitely stay here again. The home was so spacious that the kids could play pool upstairs and the adults spread out on the other two levels without all bumping into each other. We absolutely loved the upper deck where we set up a cornhole set and played for several hours. The view is beautiful as well! We lit all the fireplaces, as the temps really dropped in the evenings quickly, and just enjoyed hanging out together. Smores were enjoyed on the upper patio firepit. There were many movies downstairs to choose from if you liked. The kitchen was plenty big enough for all of us ladies to be in there preparing our meals. If you are looking for a beautiful mountain getaway, this is the place to go!

Spacious and Well-Maintained Property

Our first reaction upon entering the property, was the same as some of the other reviewers - the photos do not do this house justice. It is a very well-appointed property with spacious rooms. We had 6 families -each with kids, staying here during our vacation and the house did not feel crowded at all.
The owners were helpful in answering our questions, which made for a great stay at the property. Though we visited the house in early spring - I would recommend choosing this property for a peak summer/ fall getaway - just felt like there would be a lot more activities to do during that time of the year in the mountains.
I would not hesitate to vacation here again during another time of the year.

Wonderful! Highly recommend!

Our stay was delightful. The house is amazing: beautiful furniture, decorations, extra quality touches like the amazing chandeliers and the special showers. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this vast house. The kids loved the pool table upstairs! I loved the jacuzzi and the huge kitchen. We woke up to the mountain view from the bedroom windows, and enjoyed the view all day long from the large windows encasing the back of the house. The back deck has adorable tree-stump stools and a contained fire pit "wok", perfect for roasting marshmallows. There are trails nearby. The owners even left us a loaf of fresh Romanian bread that made the whole house smell inviting, not to mention it was delicious.
The house is tastefully decorated and I enjoyed the choices of movies and books available.
We highly recommend this cabin (it doesn't feel right calling it a cabin--I started calling it a miniature Biltmore!) to anyone who wants to get away up in the mountains in a place that is spacious, beautiful and luxurious.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

We brought 5 families to this amazing home and boy were we happy with our decision to choose this home! We have rented others before and been disappointed, not with this home, all I can say is that the pictures do not do it justice!! It was amazing!

The kids had space to play and a great movie area downstairs. The kitchen was perfect for our group and everyone had a turn in preparing meals for everyone.

If you have small children I would recommend talking to the owner about a baby gate, the stairs were a bit scary for us and we would have loved a gate. But, we had no injuries so that was great. It was in no part a problem of the owners we should have thought ahead knowing there were stairs. I still recommend it for parent with small children.

WE WILL absolutely be back to stay here again.
