Fantastic Getaway

We made a last minute decision to travel to Cape Cod as my husband had business in Massachusetts. The realtor who manages this property was so helpful and accommodating and got us into this wonderful Dennisport house. We found the house tucked in a quiet little section of windy streets, perfect for the children to ride their bikes on. What a great surprise as we pulled into the long driveway upto a large, two car garage that has been transformed into a fabulous game room complete with bar, karaoke machine, poker table, games and accessories. My children dubbed it "the man cave" and it was a perfect place for lazy afternoon fun. The house had 3 hammocks and plenty of adirondack chairs which just forced us to kick up our feet and relax. The house itself was so nicely maintained and decorated. It is quite spacious, with 3 bedrooms and plenty of beds. As a family of 6, we were very comfortable here. It was very clean and had everything we needed to feel immediately at home.
The Sea Street beach is about a mile away, took me 15 minutes to walk (without the 4 kids in tow) but it is an easy, straight go. The beach was lovely, no lifeguards but the water was calm, though a little sea-weedy in case you mind that sort of thing. The horseshoe crabs that littered the beach were such a source of entertainment for my kids. They loved it! And it was never crowded. As Dennisport is mid-cape, we were a short driving distance from all the things we wanted to do, including nature walks, whale watching, lighthouse visits, and exploring. There are plenty of restaurants and typical beach town activities, like paddle boating, arcades, bumper boats, mini golf, etc etc. This is a great house in a great location. Hope we can come back again!
