This newly renovated 5,200-square-foot townhouse combines the grandeur, high ceilings and elegance of a pre-War brownstone with the light, open spaces and livability of a contemporary loft. The parlor floor has 12-foot ceilings, a back wall of windows, a modern fireplace, an elegant open kitchen-living-dining design and adjacent terrace and garden, perfect for entertaining and family life. The very private garden is encircled by hornbeam trees and features an outdoor lounge area, grill and basketball net. In addition to 5 large and beautifully designed bedrooms, the house features an outdoor terrace with eating area, a state of the art media and security system, bike storage, laundry room, and Wi-Fi, Sonos sound system (inside and outside) and 2 oversized flatscreen TVs. A full-time housekeeper (live out) is included. Note that we only rent the townhouse during the summer, two weeks over the Christmas/New Year's holidays, the last 2 weeks in March and Thanksgiving.
