About Eric Unger
Eric and Patsy Unger have lived in Charleston for over twenty years, are the proud parents of three girls and one boy. Charleston has grown considerably in this time and we have taken advantage of most of what it offers. In this regard we are more than willing to assist with recommendations so that you may make the most of your stay. We would like you to feel that the Sweetgrass Room is your home away from home, and that you will return often to enjoy Historic Charleston and the beaches.
Eric Unger purchased this hotel in 2006
Why Eric Unger chose Charleston
With a large family we chose to live in Mount Pleasant, over the bridge from Historic Charleston. Prior to children we lived in the Historic district for fifteen years and have missed it very much. We purchased the room at the Elliott House Inn for investment and to recapture downtown perks through ocassional getaways.
What makes this hotel unique
While staying at the Sweegrass Room, guests will be able to park their car and not have to touch it until their departure. Carriage and Rickshaw transporation and tours are available.
