Would you like to really hit one out of the park? After you stay at Dream Catcher Point Resort, you will be given a complimentary autographed photo from the former Major League Baseball player, Gary Melvin Kroll. Gary was a pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies in 1964, the New York Mets from 1964 to 1965, the Houston Astros in 1966, and the Cleveland Indians in 1969. Standing 6-foot, 6-inches tall, the right-hander earned the title 'Fire-Balling Giant' after striking out 309 batters in a single season and pitching two no-hitters in the minors. In 1965, Gary pitched the first no-hitter game in New York Mets' history; the Mets were up against the Pittsburgh Pirates and Gary took his spot in the history books by pitching the first six innings of the game and Gordon Richardson followed by pitching the last three.
