Welcome to our Beach House! This home is only a few steps from the beach! We bought this home in the fall of 2011 and remodeled and renovated it from top to bottom. We just now finished and are making it available starting June 1, 2012! Come and experience coastal living at its finest! 'Sur la Mer' (By the Sea) will captivate the young and old at heart... our beautiful private heated pool overlooking a 5-acre freshwater lake will entice the vacation connoisseur in you! Our home is located in one of Destin's most exquisite and sought after luxury beachfront developments.
Just imagine... sitting back on the patio enjoying your morning coffee (or evening sunsets) in the ambiance of a lush tropical setting listening to the calming sounds of the lighted fountains spraying in the lake as the ducks, geese, and blue heron stop by to wish you a warm welcome! As the day progresses, you leisurely stroll down to 675' of pristine private beach, feeling the sugary white sand between your toes and admiring the breathtaking emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico as you watch the dolphins jump and play. All of this within only a few short steps from our home! You won't find a nicer location than this.
Our 'home-away-from-home' offers all of the comforts you could ever wish for such as... Free WI-FI, THREE master bedrooms, brand new flat screen televisions and more. All bedrooms have their OWN private balconies, luxury linens with classic and tasteful decor. Enjoy our well-stocked kitchen with new appliances including a Viking cooktop/range and Kitchenaid over-sized refrigerator. We have 7 brand new flat screen TVs including a 55' in the Living Room and Master Suite, 42' in the other two Master bedrooms and 32' in the other bedrooms. Each room also has an HD-quality Blu-Ray player. The separate laundry room has a brand new, full-size washer and dryer.
Outside you will enjoy our private heated pool and over 800 square feet of outdoor living space. The balconies and patio overlook the private lake and we have a gas grill, outdoor dining table, outdoor shower, and plenty of seating for everyone. Exit the patio gate and follow our walk-way around to the back of the patio and enjoy a park-style bench overlooking the lake.
More than anything else, our home offers comfort and easy beach access. Comfort in the accommodations and sleeping arrangements. Most homes that sleep 15 will require multiple people to sleep on pull-out or roll-aways. Not us. We only have one pull-out sofa in the living room. ALL other sleeping accommodations are in regular sized and comfortable beds in private bedrooms. This really makes a difference when two or more families are staying together for a week. A little privacy goes a long way!
Easy Beach Access! The reason we chose this property is the location. We have been vacationing in this area for over 15 years and we just don’t think there is any place better. Take a VERY short walk across the foot bridge over the lake and you are on the private, deeded beach for Dunes of Destin! It literally takes only 4-6 minutes. This enables you to enjoy the beach all day long. Going back to use the restroom, take a break, get a bit to eat or anything else is simple, quick and easy. The privacy of the deeded beach for this neighborhood is what really sets it apart. On both sides, you will see crowds of people enjoying the emerald waters and white sand. However, on our 675’ section, you will have your own beach service and a much fewer people. Watching the kids play and enjoying the surf and sand has never been better.
Our beautiful 5BR (Plus bunkroom) 4BA home offers the following sleeping accommodations: Each Master bedroom has a king-size bed with oversized closets (2 walk-in and 1 large with 2 doors). They all have private baths showers and two have jetted tubs. The largest of the master bedrooms (the Master Suite) is huge. It has a walk-in shower with 3 shower heads, separate commode and separate, jetted tub. This Master Suite also has an attached Children’s Bunkroom with bunk beds and a 32” flat screen and blu-ray player. The 4th and 5th bedrooms are on the first floor and one has a Queen bed and one has a double bed with single bunk above it. They both share a jack/jill bath with double vanity and jetted tub/shower. All bedrooms have oversized TV/DVD/VCR's, ceiling fans and luxury linens. There is also a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room. Finally, we make the 2-car garage available as well so you are able to park your vehicles safely and securely.

Our home is located right in the heart of Destin within walking distance to... Destin's most popular restaurants, Destin Harbor, Destin Commons, and more than 75 exquisite shops. We are also just minutes from Destin's ever-popular Silver Sands Outlet Mall with more than 60 alluring shops to tempt you. We are right across the street from Big Kahuna Water Park, and within half a mile of Destin's popular family theme parks, including The Track.
