This house is currently booked from Nov 10 - December 31st. the same guests may need to extend their stay until the end of February. I will not know the availability status of Jan 2014 and onward until December 1st ( in which time I will update this online listing.

You will find this BEAUTIFUL OASIS hidden in the heart of 'Old Town' Huntington Beach, also known as 'Surf City USA' . It is situated 3 streets away from both the Beach and Main St. (about a 5 min.casual walk) This is a quiet, affluent, safe neighborhood. No expense has been spared in this newly remodeled gem. This 2 bed/ 1 bath sleeps up to 4 people. The houses' is interior is small (approx. 600sq ft), yet adorned with modern comforts ( big screen tv,cable,internet, contemporary appliances, laundry, etc.) It's layout offers a sense of space, with french doors opening up to a beautiful exotic patio and impressive outdoor garden lounge area. The architectural design elements represent an eclectic juxtaposition of 'old world' culture and beautiful artistic accents. This is a unique and special little dwelling place, every inch passionately handcrafted with love. It truly is a quaint little hideaway that transports its guests into a refuge of exotic tranquility.
I have spent years artistically creating a unique little dwelling here that is my home residence. I often travel and work abroad and would like to rent my house out to people who would ENJOY and truly RESPECT it. It is a small dwelling and is ideally set up to accommodate 2-4 people max. ( 1 person per room, or a couple in each room, depending on space preferences/ comfortability) One room has a queen size bed, and the other room a full size bed with an upper single bunk bed. The kitchen is small (studio size) yet offers all new and high end stainless steel appliances with beautiful granite countertops, 4 burner gas stove, double sink, microwave/convection oven, refridgerator. There is no dishwasher or conventional oven.
This is a great little pad to enjoy a vacation at, barbeque and sit by an outdoor fire pit around a beautiful outdoor lounge area. Close to beach and the heart of the downtown activities. The ambience transports its' guests into a setting reminiscent of a Latin/Asian setting. For Huntington Beach, it offers a unique little retreat with an indoor/outdoor feel. However, due to the compact residential beach community it is NOT a rental property that caters to large amounts of people or a place to have large party gatherings. Due to the close proximity of neighbors there is a 10pm noise curfew outdoors! It is pertinent that all guests can follow this guideline or I cannot continue to rent it out any more due to recents complaints of nightly noise. SMOKING IS PROHIBITED INDOORS and PETS/ANIMALS are NOT allowed. ( No exceptions) Any and all damages to the property will hold the tenants financially liable upon departure.
SCHEDULING BOOKING DATES: 1 week minimum booking required- from SUNDAY to SUNDAY only! PLEASE DO NOT INQUIRE ABOUT DATES THAT DO NOT COORDINATE WITHIN THIS TIMELINE- from SUNDAY to SUNDAY. There is no discount for stays less than a week or 7 days (ex. whether you stay 3 days, 5 days or the full week, the listed rental fees above are FIXED.) This is the only viable option for management purposes. Booking random or personalized timelines creates conflicts in managerial scheduling, and a high volume of undesired vacancies. CHECK-IN time is 3:00 p.m. on SUNDAY. CHECK OUT time is 11:00 a.m. on the following SUNDAY. (It is very important that guests follow this check-in/out procedure with punctuality allowing for cleaning and preparation for the following rental party's same day check-in) Overstaying the time requirements will result in a financial charge to compensate the management and the upcoming guest's inconvenience.
LONG TERM STAY: Starting November 1, 2013 I am offering to rent out the house to one person or couple for about a 4 month period ( from Nov. 1, 2013, to the end of Feb.2014) The rate is $2900 per month (fully furnished and all utilities included: electric,water,gas, TV/internet.) The house is only available at these rates if rented for the full stay (3 months or longer). Please feel free to inquiry about availability and discounts for long term rental rates. Please contact me if your interested or have an alternative offer, and we can discuss any flexibility in rates and dates desired.
PAYMENT OPTIONS: (There are 2 payment options)
OPTION 1: Payments may be made by personal check, sent via mail directly to homeowner at time of booking. This option can only be offered if booking is made several weeks in advance of check-in date, or check is sent with an express mailing service (FedEx or UPS) SECURITY DEPOSIT: A $300.00 cash security deposit is required at check-in, and refundable at time of check-out if there is no damage, theft, etc.
OPTION 2: Payments may be made via a 'direct deposit' bank transfer. You may transfer money directly from your bank account into homeowners' bank account. SECURITY DEPOSIT: A $300.00 cash security deposit is required at check-in, and refundable at time of check-out if there is no damage, theft, etc. For long term stays a higher security deposit is required.
CLEANING FEE - A $100 cleaning fee is mandatory and charged in addition to the rental fees at time of initial booking.
100% refund if cancellation is made 45 days or more prior to your check-in date.
75% refund if cancellation is made 45-30 days prior to your check-in date.
25% refund if cancellation is made 30-21 days prior to check-in date.
0% refund if cancellation is made 21 days or less prior to check-in date.
(travel insurance is recommended as a safeguard measure for any unseen changes in plans) These fees are in place to avoid last moment vacancies and expensive management losses.
MAKING RESERVATION.BOOKING: If you are interested in booking a reservation send an inquiry with the requested personal information (please be very specific with number or guests and any questions or concerns). You will receive a response shortly with availability status, quote (summary of rates and total cost) Once you agree to the quote and finalize your decision by making a reservation, I will send you a rental agreement contract and detailed payment information. Upon receiving your payment you will be officially booked and the dates scheduled will be blocked out on the calendar. You will receive a confirmation email and all pertaining details for your check in process.
