Good place to stay
We rented this unit for three days a second time. The Solana Resort is a very good place to stay if you are visiting Disney. It is only few minutes by car to all the Disney parks. Universal Studios, the outlets and the major malls are only around 20 min. away, less than 5 min. from a Super-Target & Publix. A gas station is next to Publix. We made frequent stops at the Super Wal-Mart.
The resort is easy to locate and is gated. So not just anyone can get in and we felt very secure. The resort was very quiet, clean and tidy. From the clubhouse you have a great view over the community pool with palms.
Solana offered lots of fun, the club house with a game room, a gym, a Tiki bar, a putting green, a climbing wall for children, a picnic area with barbecues, a beach volleyball court, a nice playground for young children and a brand new 18 hole mini-golf course (We loved it!).
The Clubhouse has a kids’ corner with activities for younger children, a cyber cafe which offered free wireless internet and a small store for snacks, drinks and other small things.
The villa was very clean, comfortable, very well equipped and to a high standard. It is furnished brand new which you can see on the pictures shown by Homeway. The house has 4 BR and 3 bathrooms. This home was very tastefully decorated and the floors must be all quite new. Having a regular washer and dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, and our own pool really made it a great vacation. The own pool has a removable child fence around it so we felt safe leaving the patio doors open and the pool area was secured while we prepared dinner or had a nap! A patio table with 4 chairs, two lounge chairs and special pool kitchenware pampered us while the sun set.
Booking through the owner was very easy - he was professional, friendly, and answered our inquiries quickly. Check-in took 5 minutes. Check-out 2 seconds! Front doors are all key codes so you don't have to worry about keys.
You get from the owner the phone number of Collin; he is the on-site property manager. He has an exceptional staff who offers true customer service. He is a nice guy, very friendly and willing to help with any problems you have ASAP.
I'd highly recommend this villa and resort for families: clean, private, great value, and super close to Disney and shopping. In conclusion, we loved it and will definitely stay again. We will also recommend this villa to our friends and relatives.
