CLASSIC TAHOE HOME , GATED COMMUNITY, PRIVATE BEACH, HOT TUB

If you are looking for a family house with ALL the amenities you could ever hope for, this is it!  The house is in a gated community of lovely homes.  We rented the house for a month, and felt right at home as soon as we walked in the front door.  The three bedrooms are large, all with beautiful views of the lake, all with king beds and en suite bathrooms.  The mattresses and linens are fine hotel quality.  The kitchen is furnished with lovely glassware, cookware, and dishes.  Spices are in abundance, though we brought our own since our stay was long (ok, we did use some of their pepper flakes).  Cleaning and laundry supplies are also provided, though again we brought our own.  But for a weekend or week-long stay, all you need to bring is groceries.  The 55-inch tv, in the nicely furnished, comfortable and roomy living room, had many HD and premium channels - that was a delight.  The large hot tub was perfect after each day of skiing.  Bill, the owner, made the process hassle-free - he  is customer service all the way.  We can't wait to go back.

We spent 2 weeks at this quiet, comfortable, & well-equipped home, just steps from a private beach on the shores of Lake Tahoe. The owner, Bill, was incredible to work with - great communication, very helpful, and accommodating. We looked at staying at one of the "downtown" hotels and are we glad we didn't. This house was everything we could have asked for and more. Conveniently located within a couple miles of the casinos and "downtown", we were able to enjoy the privacy in a gated community and private beach (just 100 yards or so from the house) and still be able to get wherever we wanted to in minutes. The grocery store was about a mile away; hiking/biking trails were even closer but you always felt like you were in the wilderness. Everything we needed was there including hot tub outside the master bedroom, all the kitchen appliances, big screen TV, ipod sound system, towels, blankets, chairs for the beach... I can't think of anything we wish we had but didn't. Bill, the owner, was great to work with and we did not have a single problem our whole trip. We came and went so many times golfing, hiking, shopping and eating out that we really started to feel like we were returning home each time. Thanks for allowing us to use your home which made for a great vacation.
