3 bedrooms, 1 & 3/4 baths, sleeps 8

This is a wonderful family vacation spot for three couples or a larger family. The separate-entrance studio apartment is ideal for those who would like a bit of privacy. Five hundred feet of woods and grounds out back are roomy enough for exploring nature and playing games, but it's the sandy beach that makes for great sea-glass hunting, strolling, sun bathing, or just watching the ships go by. There's a large sand bar for swimming and fun in the water about 30 feet off shore. To reach it you must wade through shallow water with a stony bottom. Bring water shoes and plunge ahead or float to the sand on two inflatable tubes. Two families of kids have had many years of fun at this lake site, in and out of the water all day long, playing flashlight tag, roasting marshmallows and searching for the big dipper at night. Inside, the combined living room and dining room offer great entertainment space with TV, books, board games, and a corn popper for fun even on rainy days! There's plenty of cookware and bake ware and the kitchen is fully stocked, so all you need to bring is your food. Be sure to check out the play room (garage) with weights for adults, a 6' x 10' exercise mat, and a don't-worry-about-it table perfect for Play Dough fun!

Kids are welcome, of course. Sorry, no pets.

Our Fantastic Vacation

My family of 6 spent 5 days here. Very clean and nice, with everything that you need. The owners were very friendly and the rental agency was very helpful in setting up our reservations.
What a wonderful and secluded setting, to include enjoying a glimpse of a deer as it passed thru the yard. Water is clean for swimming and you can catch a view of the freighters passing by. We would definitely stay here again. A++
