My 90 year old Mother and my two sisters and I stayed in this wonderful condo in May 2013. The condo is beautiful, comfortable and felt like home. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and the view was exceptional. Everything we ever wanted or needed was provided and it was especially nice to have a secured area to park our car. The condo is close to lots of great shopping, eating and relaxing. We are hoping to make this an annual Mother's Day visit with our mother, so we're looking at May 2014 already! Thanks for Gordon and Lisa for being super friendly and checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed! Great hosts, great condo, great vacation!!

When we decided to go to California for Thanksgiving, it was no question that we wanted to stay right on the ocean. We couldn't have found a better place to "move" in for a week. We loved the condo, it really felt like home, and what a treat to wake up and watch the surfers and take walks on the beach! There was also a great selection of books in the house, i can't remember the last time i was just able to sit and finish a book in a few days, so relaxing, we all loved it. The condo was well equipped to even cook dinner several nights for extended family as well as make some awesome pies for Thanksgiving. This may be the start of a family tradition. Thank you Gorden and Lisa, we will be back!

Great condo and excellent location in Solana Beach

My husband and I and another couple had the pleasure of staying at the Tudor's condo for two weeks in late October. The condo is exactly as described. The kitchen is well equiped as is the washing machine, laundry detergent and bounce sheets were provided which as a wonderful surprise. The view out the condo is stunning. We spent many evenings watching the sunset and the surfers playing in the waves below. Solana Beach is a wonderful place from which to cycle, run and swim. We spent many hours exploring the coast on our bikes that we rented from the local bike shop, Revolution. The road bikes we rented were excellent as well as the service. The Boys and Girls club up the road as a wonderful outdoor swimming pool for those visitors who love to swim. The San Deigo coast is a wonderful place to visit if you are training for a triathlon. We will definitely be back some day, hopefully soon.

If you are looking to create memories, stay at the Tudors condo. We arrived and opened the door to view he pacific ocean and an upscale condo. From sunsets on the balcony to days at the beach we had a great time. The condo is about 1450 ft. (guess). Two large bed rooms with a large kitchen, dinning and living areas. We were 6. My daughter son in law and a 6 yr old and baby just turned 2. Did not feel crowded. When the kids were up we did not hear them from our bed room. The condo had plenty of towels, blankets, dishes and other amenties. Beach supplies including boggie boards and chairs were appreciated. Theme parks Lego Land, Sea World along with downtown San Diego were only about 20 to 25 minutes away. Several restaurants and coffee shops along with CVS are within walking distance. We had a great time with our grandkids and will never forget the sunsets. If you are planning on staying in the Del Mar area look at the Tudor condo.
