Our family house is located a 10 second walk from Good Harbor Beach. Enjoy an early morning stroll followed by a cup of coffee sitting on the porch, soaking in the ocean breeze, watching the waves crash on bass rocks and listening to the sound of the ocean. If you feel like a run, you can jog down the beach and cross over onto Atlantic Avenue with sprawling views of the ocean as you run. For a more sedate morning, head out on a whale watch or take a short drive to the Peabody Essex Museum. Check out Salt Island at low tide, accessible by a sand bar when the tide goes out.
Just minutes away is Rockport, another seaside town where you can stroll through local artists galleries, have lunch, or rent a kayak and paddle out to Twin Lights. Drive or ride your bike to Rockport as it's only a few miles away. Group kayak tours are also available from local kayak touring companies. After a busy day of touring, snorkeling, or biking, cookout on the front lawn, or retire to the porch.
We came from PA, VA and MO to join family for Christmas week. What we found was a wonderfully loved home where we could enjoy a beautiful view, great beach strolls and our family all coming together for a wonderful time. Everything we could have needed or wanted was here! The weather was exciting. Everything from a Nor'Easter to snow!!! Thank you for sharing this lovely house with us as it was all wonderful.
