During your stay at our beautiful Wilderness retreat you will be in near isolation from the outside world. You will have all the amenities of a luxury hotel but will be not be bothered with the sights and sound of the city. There is many historical sites that can be visited while you stay at our retreat. Some people like to visit the historic twin cities of Malta and Mconnellsville. These two cities are a battle site of the civil war. But most that stay with us will be inclined to just relax on the property. You can swim or fish in our 2 acre fully stocked pond. You can go on long nature walks through the rippling slate bottom creeks. Or you can make a warming campfire in front of the house and sit and make S mores and fire pies until it is time for bed. Ohio is also very well known for its world renowned white tail deer. We have hunting specials available for all of the hunting seasons. Whether you are chasing the elusive Turkey or the legendary Big white tail Buck than this is the hunting retreat for you, as we have over 45 acres that backs directly into the Wayne National Forest.
