De-stress and indulge in peace and serenity by the white sand beach of pristine Green Lake. Located on 30 gorgeous acres, Lakewood Camp is your own private park. Blueberry fields, a large beaver pond, woods with walking, hiking and biking trails and a beautiful, private white sand beach on one of Maine's most scenic lakes will make you forget the outside world. Wake up to the peaceful sounds of songbirds and owls and fall asleep to soulful cries of loons. View magnificent sunsets and experience extraordinary star-gazing.

Swimming is at it's best. The soft white sand beach has a gradual walk out into the water. There is no deep drop off. Look out from the shore and see the sandy bottom through the crystal clear water. Bring your canoe,kayak, or jet ski and put in directly from the beach. A boat launch for larger boats is close by and you can anchor at the dock. Fish for landlocked Salmon and Bass.

The 2 bedroom, 1 bath and solar shower cabin comfortably sleeps 4. There is a full size bed and 2 twin beds. Bring your own pillows, blankets and towels; sheets are supplied. There is a 4 burner gas stove, full size refrigerator, and gas lights. The cabin has a big picture window overlooking the lake and a large fieldstone fireplace with hearth for cozy ambiance. Wood is supplied. We do not use electricity and have no tv. Hot water comes from solar shower. A battery charger is available to re-charge your small electronics i.e. cellphones, Ipad or laptop.

Beachside, there is a large propane grill for lakeside grilling & cooking, a large pot for lobster feasts, and a firepit for nightly bonfires.

Shopping, restaurants & theaters are less than 15 minutes away and Bar Harbor,Acadia National Park and the ocean are only a 1/2 hour drive. Bangor International Airport is less than 45 minutes and Bar Harbor Airport is 1/2 hour.
