LUXURY 2-BEDROOM SUITE--WESTGATE LODGE PARK CITY--SKI IN-OUT--$215/NT*

We stayed here for 10 days and I must say it was exactly what we were hoping for. Until now we had always chosen private homes with a secluded feel, but decided this time to give a resort stay a go. Being 'in resort' with kids and not needing a car makes the whole experience so much easier. We could do our own thing without worrying about the logistics of everyone being ready to go at the same time and then everyone ready to go home at the same time, you get the idea...... The Canyons resort is fantastic...good skiing, great place for a beer after skiing (the Umbrella bar!!) and choice of a few good places to eat dinner. As for the apartment, it's great. Certainly helped having the kitchen and common dining and living area between the bedrooms so we could all hang out rather than be confined to 'hotel rooms' until time to go out. Stayed in Park City Old Town last year and loved that too because of the night life, but I didn't have the family with me that time! so this time with the family, really felt like we couldn't have picked better. The shuttle running between The Canyon, Park City and Deer Valley is fantastic. We thought about hiring a car and so glad we didn't Would have only used it a couple of times at most. The Westgate Lodge is a bit of a maze, but once you find your way around, it really is a great place. It's right in the middle of the resort and after a couple of day's you stop feeling guilty about them taking your ski's to the Gondola for you! Great vacation in a great place.

Had a wonderful time at this excellent property. Ideally located within 5 minute walk from the gondola at the Canyons. The property also featured outdoor hot tub, heated outdoor and indoor pool, and sauna, which were close by. The listing was accurate, and the photos representative. Unit was clean, although the standup shower took an above average time to drain. The agents handling the property were responsive. I would recommend this to others as the cost was reasonable for this type of resort and time of year. The free shuttle service from the resort to Park City was excellent and would pick you up and drop you off wherever you wanted. This was the first ski trip with [adult] kids where we didn't rent a car - took a quick shuttle from SLC airport - and never needed it!

The Westgate staff is great and the location is wonderful. This was our second time staying here. the pictures on the website were perfect. The unit we stayed in was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. It is just a short distance to the Gondola (easy walk). The renovations to the resort done last year are great. The new pub has great food and also you can order take out pizza if you want to relax in your room.
