This home is located in a welcoming neighborhood on a quiet dead end street. Evenings can be spent in the back yard grilling and enjoying a glass of wine . You may prefer to enjoy Newport's wonderful restaurants. We are a short stroll to the restaurant center on America's Cup Avenue which is where most locals prefer to dine. There are a multitude of restaurants within a one block radius on Thames St and most weekend nights it is possible to find live music in this small area.

We are a 10 minute or less walk to all Bellevue Avenue shopping, Touro Synagogue, the International Tennis Hall of Fame, Fort Adams and college league baseball in one of the oldest baseball parks in the nation.

You can easily walk to the nation's oldest tavern, oldest lending library and oldest synagogue.

Our 2 family house is located in the heart of downtown Newport and in the hub of all summer activities, but within the quiet confines of a secluded neighborhood. Parking is at a premium during the summer months, but we offer two off-street parking spaces and two guest passes for on-street parking. Probably the only transportation you will need from this location is your feet! Located right downtown you can walk to all Newport has to offer including shops, fine dining, trendy restaurants, cozy cafes, theater, cinema, art galleries, museums and libraries. Walk 1/2 block to waterfront parks and the unique Newport Wharf areas, where you can sip your morning coffee watching the activities of boaters from around the world--mega yachts to dinghies!View beautiful sunsets over the Newport Bridge and Narragansett Bay.

A busy summer calendar of world-renowned Festivals will provide constant entertainment.

Charter a yacht, go on a seal watch, take sailing lessons, try kayaking or surfing, stroll or hike along Cliff Walk and enjoy the ocean views--all these are available in the 'sailing capital of the world.'

I just wanted to say thank you, on behalf of me and all my friends, for hosting us in Newport the other weekend. We had a blast (obviously!) and our central location in Newport was a critical part of our weekend.
I don't think we could have asked for a better place to rent. Everything was amazing!
Anyhow, I just wanted to say thanks and that you will be our go-to person to rent from in Newport next time we come up.
