You can hear the waves hit the shore in this completely remodeled classic cedar shingled home that was originally built in 1870. The house was remodeled in 2002 from top to bottom and from inside to outside, while keeping all it's original charm. With the beach located directly in front of the house you can sit on the porch and watch the kids or call them in for lunch when its time.

This is the Best location in Pawson Park!!!!!

In addition to a screened-in porch that has panoramic views of the Thimble Islands, the home has Central Air, High speed internet access, a brand new kitchen and baths and a enclosed outdoor shower.

Within walking distance (or a 2 minute car ride) are the Indian Neck Market, Famous Lenny's Seafood restaurant, Bud's seafood market, Indian Neck Liquor store, Indian Neck Pizza, and a general store with a great outdoor farmers market with locally grown produce and amazing pies. The Owenego Inn ( A great place to go have a waterfront drink in the evening/lots of local character) is located down the street on Linden Ave. (.40 miles)

The Branford train station is 2.25 miles or 3.6 Km from the house and goes north to Boston or directly to the New Haven station(with connecting free shuttle bus service to the Yale campus ever 15 minutes) with coordinated connections to the New York City train into Grand Central Station. Yale University and New Haven are 11 miles or 17 kilometers from the house by car.

A truly wonderful week in a wonderfully comfortable home. The house was outfitted with everything you could ask for, comfortable beds, nice linens, beach towels and a wonderful screened in porch looking out to Long Islan Sound.

I satyed here over the summer with my family (wife and 2 boys aged 4 and 7). We had a great time. The house is located just yards from the beach and is in a stunning area. The hiouse itself has all you could need. Overall, a great rental.

The house was better than we expected from the photographs. It is quite spacious and open on the first floor.

What a beautiful spot and a great house! Birthday dinner party was great with 10 of us sitting around the table very comfortably. I enjoyed sitting in the screened porch and watching the sun shimmering on the water in the morning.

It is surprisingly close to downtown New Haven (20 min?) so I had no trouble driving in to go to dinner, see the sites or pick up family and friends.

Branford town center is charming with a classic New England green.
