Interior design is modern, yet cozy. Kitchen has all the cooking accommodations needed. Bath has been newly remodeled. There is a doggy door for small pet. 10 min to airport, 4 min to typical attractions such as zoo, golf course, Gas Lamp or Balboa Park. Tropical entrance & yard provide a green and serene ambiance after a long day of sight-seeing. Walking distance to grocer, bakery, and breakfast Cafe. Golden Hill park 3 blocks away & is great place for walking. Bus line on corner going both ways to Gas Lamp. Easy access to garage with it's electric opener. Vacations with 3 year old

We just love this place. I took my daughter and her baby on this wonderful vacation. Apartment is realy what was promise. We had everything to cook, sleep and enjoy how close is to all places to see in San Diego. We also try bakery, and is addictive. Neighbors are friendly and Terry is very nice. Outdoor space is beautifull and good place to enjoy any time of the day. Everything was just perfect.

Wonderful getaway!

My husband and I stayed at this location with our two small dogs. We chose this place, because of the close proximity to Balboa Park and it didn't disappoint! We loved being only a few short blocks from the park and our doggies had a wonderful time. The unit is so beautiful and charming! It was super clean, comfortable and charming. We also loved the fact that there was a bakery, a market and a great coffee place near by. Highly recommend.

Charming apartment!

My husband and I enjoyed our time at Terry's property this weekend which prompted me to write a review right away. We booked a last minute trip to San Diego and we just loved how comfortable we felt. Everything was clean, tidy, and the kitchen was perfect to cook in! There is an excellent bakery within walking distance and this place is extremely convenient to many areas we hung out in during our stay - Gaslamp, East Village, and Balboa Park to name a few. We travel frequently with our dogs and it was just comfortable for them too. Also a few blocks away there is a dog park to let them run loose in as well. We're definitely going to come back to visit again and hope to stay at this wonderful little find.

Had a Wonderful Month-Long Stay

We are a retired couple traveling with two small dogs and we stayed in Terry's ground floor apartment for an entire month. We found Terry's apartment to be cozy and comfortable and just as the description & pictures indicated. The unit was tastefully decorated and contained all necessary amenities. The fact that the grounds were entirely fenced in and that our unit also had a doggie door and a private dog run made it extremely convenient for us. The addition of a private access garage with automatic door opener was also appreciated. The location is central to all of downtown San Diego and very convenient for outings to the Zoo and Balboa Park as well as beaches and downtown dining. We got to know Terry and Maria as well as some of the neighbors and everyone was warm & friendly. Thanks Terry for a wonderful stay and we're wishing you & Maria the best!

Nice location, nice setup

We stayed here for a meeting at the convention center, and it was very nice for our family of 3. It is right on the bus line and within a walkable distance there as well. Clean, tidy unit with a nice small kitchen with most things that you would need. Has laundry on-site, free wifi, and a nice big tv :) A huge plus is that they allowed us to have our dog. Additionally it is right down the street from Panchita's Bakery...YUM!
