Tall Pines is on Long Lake, a 2,900 acre all sports lake. A boat launch to Long Lake is less than 3 blocks from Tall Pines. You can kick back, relax, fish, watch for wildlife and listen for the loons or venture out to experience all the wonderful activities the Traverse City area has to offer, and, you are never more than an hour away from Tall Pines.

The property managers (Dennis and Carol Davidson) live just down the street and are there to welcome you whatever the hour of the day or night and to respond to any cares you may have during your stay.

Notes: You must be at least 30 years old to book Tall Pines Tall Pines has a two car carport for your use. We have a 24 ft. pontoon for rent by the day for $275 that includes a half tank of gas (10 gal). We also have a 4hp outboard motor for $125.00 for the week that includes three gal. of gas (which last most folks the whole week).

We came up north with our married children to attend a family reunion in late September. We enjoyed the accomodations so much that we rented Tall Pines for our week vacation for the following year. The cottage is very clean. Although not modern every thing works and is in very good condition Truly a beautiful rustic cottage. Long Lake is the perfect all sports lake. Dennis, the rental manager, and his wife Carol live down the road and are very accessable and helpful in very way.

Perfect Family Getaway

Our experience was wonderful. We came up North for a weekend to tour the beautiful Fall colors. Evenings were spent playing cards,playing board games and enjoying the cozy fires in the beautiful fireplace while listening to old records on the vintage record player. Our children really enjoyed it. It was so nostalgic and comfortable that we wanted to come back for the Christmas weekend but, were saddened to hear that they close the cottage for the winter months. We look forward to returning to Traverse City and Tall Pines.
