To the right stands a circular marble staircase, and to the left, a large dining room with a suspended crystal sphere chandelier. Straight ahead (pictured above) is the 2-story formal living room against a round wall of glass and Italian plaster looking over the pool and Tuscan hill country views.
Note to FMDG: put next to picture of formal living with 25’ high ceiling – vertical shot and attach it to new shot of formal entry & stairs instead of the original link
The home wraps around the pool and pool deck making it, and the hill country views behind it, the key focal point of the home. The pool itself features pebble-tech plaster and a negative edge, overflowing into a large tiled basin visible from the back yard. The back of the pool also includes two massive planters each containing 16 foot palm trees.
The Media Room (pictured above left) features raised seating, colossal 120” screen, cherry wood stage, electric reclining leather theater chairs, motorized velvet black-out curtains, wax plastered faux walls, hand-painted galaxy ceiling, custom cabinetry, and custom velvet sound panels throughout, accented by hundreds of square feet of rare and exotic Blue Bahia granite. Simply over-the-top! Combined with professional media equipment from Denon, Klipsch, BenQ, Aperion, Sony, and others, to create a 1080p HD video experience with over 1000 watts of Dolby 7.1 audio. This huge Media Room is simply best-in-class for multi-million dollar homes. Huge, over-the-top, and with all the performance electronics one might dream about.
Over 35,000 tiny glass tiles were designed and individually set by famous New York ceramics artist DeBorah Goletz to create this mural of contemporary bluebonnets - water gracefully flows over this 13 ft by 9 ft glass mosaic mural from the infinity edge fountain above it
Designed by urban architect Luciana Misi of Lamme/Misi Urban Studios, no corners were cut in this guest house that features high ceilings, limestone floors, Exotic Russian Volga Blue Granite counters, Viking appliances, commercial picture windows, Jen-Weld glass doors, scene lighting, integrated built-in sound, two built-in HDTVs, a separate security system, and even a high-capacity steam shower!
Next to the pool you find possibly the most envy evoking feature of the home, a swim-up pool bar and outdoor Summer Kitchen (pictured below). The covered kitchen features Giallo Veneziano Italian granite, Viking Grill, Refrigerator/Ice maker, and beverage center, as well as a gigantic Plasma HDTV above a large glass mosaic outdoor shower. Beside the pool bar, outdoor seating and bistro tables exist around an outdoor fireplace. The Plasma HDTV is fully enjoyably from the spa, pool, or seating/dining area and can display all content from the media room’s media servers and DVD changers.
The wine grotto, configured as a “wine living room”, is unusually large with double 10-foot high steel and glass Cantera doors. Inside, it feels aged and Tuscan with hand-painted sandstone walls done by local artist Velvet Barton. The wine is kept in separate wine coolers, for red and white, or in a commercial WineKeeper server that uses pressurized nitrogen and refrigeration to keep 4 bottles open, fresh, and ‘spigot’ed for weeks
The Great Room/Family Room (pictured right) combines comfort, style, and technology. It offers it’s own Media Room Experience including a 58” HDTV Plasma, access to audio and video media servers, 200 watts of in-ceiling sound system, and scene lighting. Touch panels control all lighting, pool, surveillance, security, heating and air conditioning, and just about anything else one would imagine. There’s even a coffee bar featuring a Miele automatic ‘dial-a-flavor’ espresso/coffee/cappuccino machine.
Custom designed by Symphony of Homes Award winning designer, Sharon Radovich, the master suite features stunning window, wall, and fireplace treatments, and spectacular views of the pool and hill country from the round sitting area. …A second doorway leads to the master bath which features a luxurious Onyx steam shower, 2-person Jacuzzi computerized heated massage spa, walk-in closet with electronically opening mirrored doors, a full wet-bar with Viking refrigerator, a private laundry with an innovative LG high-capacity washer/dryer combo unit, and a water closet a with Japanese bidet, all in glass, onyx, marble and mirrored surfaces.
