This charming 4 bedroom home built Circa 1830 is exactly what you expect to find when you visit Niagara on the Lake sitting on a beautiful trees lot with an old English garden only 2 blocks to the main street. It is perfect for the couples getaway, family getaway, or just a bunch of friends enjoying all NOTL has to offer. The gourmet kitchen comes completely equipped with stainless steel appliances to prepare all of your meals, although you will definitely want to take advantage of the many fine restaurants that are only a short walk away. The home has a large formal living room with a wood burning fireplace, a formal dining room, a three piece bathroom with large walkin shower, a separate eating area off the kitchen and a casual family room with high definition tv. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms and the property can sleep up to nine people comfortably. There are two king beds, a queen bed, and three twin beds and a 4 piece bath upstairs. Outside there is a wonderful private patio that overlooks the gardens, a separate conversation area and a bbq when you decide to cook outdoors. Of course the home has all of the modern conveniences such as telephone, cable television, and wifi access as well as a computer for the guest use should they require it. There is a washer/dryer in the event the guests require laundry service.

This property is only two blocks to Queen street which is the main street in old town Niagara on the Lake which is extremely important as parking is always an issue so being able to walk, ride your bike, or rent and ebike to go where you need to is a big plus.

What makes this house unique

Visiting Niagara on the lake is a unique experience as it is the birthplace of a lot of important Canadian history and has many old home that most people never get to see inside. This property has been lovingly restored and while providing all modern conveniences offers the quaint charm of a historic home including original pine floors and rustic fireplaces.

My family and I had an amazing time in Niagara-on-the-Lake. This home was beautiful from top to bottom. The rooms were spacious, spotless and nicely decorated. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the main street and hit the shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this home. It is the perfect place to experience the history and beauty of Niagara-on-the-Lake.
