House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 6-8)

Come relax in my beautiful lake front log home. Enjoy the large, grass covered front yard that leads down to your own private shoreline on Nancy Lake. Flat grass covered area in front of the home is ideal for volleyball, croquet, and many other activities (equipment for some activities is available for your use). Both covered and uncovered decks allow you to get as much or little sunlight as you want. Great gravel lake bottom is ideal for wading and swimming, or just relax on the large, Trex covered dock.

This beautiful home is newly remodeled with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and luxury flooring throughout. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to enjoy fabulous home cooked meals. Relax and enjoy those meals on the brand new dining room table that seats eight overlooking the lake. The living room has a large satellite television with a DVD player and huge picture windows to take advantage of the spectacular lake view.

The house has three spacious bedrooms. The master has a king sized bed and a private balcony that overlooks the lake. The other upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and plenty of room for the queen air bed and Pack N Play. The down stairs bedroom has one queen bed, room for the queen air bed and Pack N Play, and an oversized closet. There is a Pack N Play available for smaller guests, and an air mattress upon request. The downstairs bathroom has a beautiful claw foot bath tub to soak away your cares in. The upstairs has a shared bathroom located between the bedrooms.

Enjoy unique Alaskan experiences in this great location. Deshka Landing, just minutes away is, the gateway to many great freshwater salmon and trout fisheries in the Susitna River drainage. King and Silver Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Grayling, Dolly Varden and Pike can be caught here. The historic village of Talkeetna, less than an hour away, is nestled at the base of Denali (Mount McKinley), North America's tallest peak. Talkeetna has an outstanding panoramic view of the Alaska Range that can be enjoyed and photographed from several places as you wander through this town and discover what this unique location has to offer. Flightseeing, fishing, riverboat tours, hiking, nordic skiing, mushing, mountain climbers, and great people. The entrance to Denali National Park is a 2 hour and 40 minute drive.

Absolutely Beautiful

This charming cabin has all the amenities one could ask for. I have taken my family here on several occasions. The cabin is always prepped for our arrival. We had up to 10 people in the cabin and it never felt cramped. It has a nice porch for sitting out in the sun or admiring the beautiful sunsets. The nice large lawn area allows for plenty of activities and my children love fishing off the dock. I highly recommend this cabin and look forward to going back.

Fantastic family get away!!

We had such an amazing time at this home away from home! The cabin is beautifully upgraded with plenty of space and amazing lake views! The fishing was great and the is lake perfect for wake boarding and canoeing. The last morning we were there we woke up with a moose right in the front yard!! We will absolutely be back again and again for our Alaskan vacation!!

We had two babis and two small girls and three adults for the fourth of July weekend. It was spacious and accommodated us all very comfortably. I was surprised by the comfortable beds and the clanliness of the house. Lots of parking. Easy access to the lake. Nice deck and deck furniture. The owner was very nice and friendly.

Beautiful Log Home

We traveled from Ohio to visit family over Thanksgiving break and stayed in this beautiful cabin. The views were beautiful, watching the moon reflect off the lake at night while having a glass of wine was a treat.

The kitchen is awesome, enough room for several to cook together. Loved the coffee maker so much I bought myself one when I got home.

The bath tub was a favorite with my young boys, if you have children or just like to soak remember some bubble bath.

This house is way beyond a normal rental. The appliances, the flooring, the counters, even the washer/dryer were all top of the line. Only word of caution if you are going during the winter AWD or 4WD would have been much better than the sedan like rental car I used. I made it, but the roads around the lake are not as maintained as this Ohio girl expected them to be.
