Felt Like Home - So Much Better Than a Hotel!

My husband and I loved staying at the Warren. I was surprised just how cozy a basement apartment could be! (Plus there was plenty of natural light in the daytime which was nice too.) Because of my dietary restrictions it was important to have our own kitchen during our stay and this one had everything I needed. The decor was charming and there are plenty of blankets in case you get chilly easily, a space heaters, and ample room to hang your coats while they dry off (if they are really wet there's a coat rack right outside the door).
This place is located in a residential neighborhood and the street itself is quiet without much traffic. There was always a place to park right out in front. We could easily walk to the Hawthorne, Division and Belmont strips. Basically the location is perfect if you want to explore SE Portland.
Susan, the owner, was very warm, thoughtful and accommodating. I kept in contact with her via email and she answered my questions quickly. Even her sweet little dog would come down to greet us nearly every time we came home (which we loved).
I would absolutely recommend this place to my friends and family.
