Nice quiet condo complex in the Turtle Cove area. The unit provided good value for the area, is very clean, has a handy keyless entry, and is close by to some excellent dining spots. We didn't plan on renting a car but needed one to check out the Grace Bay area. The beach is about a 10 minute walk, IGA food store is about a 25-30 minute walk, while restaurants and marina are about 5 to 10 minutes. Turks & Caicos is a beautiful and safe island.
Condo was very well equipped. Super large pool and beach towels and even some beach items like chairs and umbrella. Loved having washer dryer in suite great after day at beach or pool to dry clothes and towels. Condo is on the first floor so great for us only one set of stairs and closest to the beach and restaurants. Trade off was balcony had obstructed view so it overlooks parking lot not sea view. Would stay here again price was very reasonable. We love to snorkel so staying in Turtle Cove makes most sense with Smiths a Reef being a 3 min walk from condo.
The condo was perfect for the two of us! Car is highly recommended. Thanks so very much.
Perfectly maintained condo. Everything we needed. Loved the location. Quietly tucked outside the main area (Grace Bay). A car is recommended for this property. However, there are three restaurants, a coffee shop and a beach within walking distance. Great service from Steve and Gail. Already booked to go back! Loved it!!

I had an amazing time on my trip. The property was just as advertised, and someone met me to give me details and answer questions. My favorite part was the rooftop pool with its amazing views of the ocean. I usually had the pool to myself! It was heated so I could swim and night and the property was very well secured so I always felt safe. It was always quiet too. I traveled alone and felt safe the entire time I was there. I must say, however, that you do need to rent a car! Everything on the island is expensive...and I mean EXPENSIVE. Plan on spending almost twice as much on food as you would in the states. A bag of grapes was 10.00! Cereal is 9 for a very small box. A loaf of bread will run you about 7 dollars. They must import everything. so the prices are astronomical. Gas was about 6.50 a gallon. As I said, you need to rent a car unless you want to pay 20 US dollars per person, one way to the taxi's. But a small rental is about 65 a day with insurance. Also be aware that you will drive on the left. You can. however, find cheaper rides in the jitnies that the locals take.It is a system where regular cars drive the road and will honk. If you need a ride, just wave them down. A ride will cost 5 or 10 dollars. At Vista Azul the beach is near, but the access is is quite a ways down the road. There are private homes where the access is across the street. I tried to go that way but there was no public access. Finally, I cut through an unoccupied property, at least I hope it was!!!, to get onto the beach. I then walked a brisk 2 miles to get to a populated area with lounge chairs. It was near the hotels. The beach is AWESOME! The water felt great and was so clear. I swam, floated, chatted with some locals and had a great time. I also went scuba diving with Provo Turtle Divers which was also amazing!!!! For wonderful food, I went too Boogaloos which is where the locals live. They don't eat there as it is very expensive. I had coconut shrimp for 20.00. There were 7 shrimp on the plate with nothing else. It was the best shrimp I have ever eaten however! So, I highly recommend Turks and Caicos and Vista Azul. The owner of my condo priced it just right. It was relatively cheap compared to everything else. So if you do not like the resort environment, it is the way to go; just be prepared to spend some money on everything else!!!
