Manheim House

We have been spending a week at the Manheim house off and on since our kids (now 20 and 24) were middle schoolers. Being musicians ourselves, what drew us to the house initally was that it had been inhabited by a composer, and indeed, the house and yard have a peaceful, and sweet spirit that is alive and well. The Manheim House is warm, generous, well stocked and inviting. It is perfect in its simplicity, and function, yet aesthetically very pleasing with all of its hand carved furniture. We love its location near our favorite places, the Farmer's Market and the Field Gallery, and an easy drive to Aquinnah and Lambert's Cove, and kayaking around the corner down New Lane.
Some houses ask something of its inhabitants. The Manheim House invites you to be yourself and relax completely.
