Cozy but not cramped, a comfortable mattress, fast wifi, and a kitchen that's larger than we're used to in a suite this size. Showering in the tub is bit precarious, like showering in a canoe, but we managed and figured this was a small price to pay for a reasonable rental fee. We were grateful for the washer; in our dreams, there's a dryer, too ;) Agnes was very welcoming and accommodating and oriented us to the neighborhood -- such a good idea to display a vintage (and accurate) map of the area on the wall of the suite, and to provide current guide books. We would happily stay here again!
Loved this studio in my favorite part of Paris! The location could not be more central to most of the major attractions. You can easily walk down to the Seine and from there to Notre-Dame or the Louvre or walk just a few blocks to the Jardin du Luxembourg, Pantheon, or Eglise Saint-Sulpice. The Odeon Metro station is just a two-minute walk away. There are numerous restaurants and cafes and shops nearby, including the wonderful boulangerie-patisserie-traiteur Gerard Mulot just a block away. The studio was clean and well-kept and gets good light from the main windows. Hot water was plentiful for showers. The apartment's temperature was very comfortable; it didn't get too cold while I was there but space heaters were provided just in case. I didn't do much cooking but did take advantage of the refrigerator and microwave. I enjoyed keeping a window open to listen to the street sounds. However, it can get a bit noisy as there is quite a bit of traffic that goes past the building, but I just used ear plugs at night so it wasn't a problem. The building does not have an elevator so the walk up five flights of stairs could be an issue for some. I looked at it as needed exercise. My contact there, Agnes, was absolutely wonderful and was very kind to help me carry my suitcase up and down the stairs. She is very easy to get in touch with if you have any problems, which fortunately I did not. I highly recommend this place and would stay here again!
I traveled to Paris all by myself and as a woman staying there alone I felt totally safe and never worried about anything. I am totally in love with Paris and this studio made it even better. I walked everywhere from here, even to the Eiffel Tower and back. It is a beautiful studio, comfortable, has all the necessary to cook and eat with. I made my breakfast and prepared my lunch to go in the studio and eat dinner at the restaurants around the apartment. I will definitely stay here again...
Thank you Jean and specially Agnes for all your help!
The studio was exactly as described; quite clean (the bath towels smelled wonderful), and it made for a good base from which to explore Paris. The kitchen contained the appropriate ware and supplies to prepare simple and basic meals and to clean up; a few foodstuffs (garlic, onions) were in place from previous guests, but they were tidy and presented well rather than just being "left behind" as we've often seen. The sofa bed was very comfortable, and when opened did not crowd the room. Although this was not a concern for us, the shower space may pose some challenges for very large persons. The location is excellent; central to sights and Metro, but not filled with noise late at night.
Overall, we would certainly consider renting this apartment again for future visits.
Great commodities, confortable, super clean, location is awesome, owners very welcoming.
It's on the 5th floor so there's a bit of stair climbing, but i concluded during the stay that higher was better. (less noise from cars & late night activity in the area..)
Even better than a studio similarly priced i rent back in 2009 in the 3rd district.
You can't go wrong and thanks again to M. Saverot.
we were housed 9 days in Paris in this charming studio, ideal for two people, the kit is very complete, you wont miss anything. The location in Paris is really central, close to all the emblematic sites, you can walk or bike easily. If I were in Paris no doubt try to stay in this study. Thanks Jean, for your study really made ??our stay perfect. I hope to see you on my next visit to Paris.
