A business colleague once asked me where I would live if I could live anywhere in the world. I thought about that for a bit as I am an international business person and adventurer. I had to reply that right where this elegant apartment is located would be my first choice. It looks as though someone cleans the six lane across streets at night, the sun shines nearly every day and it almost never gets so hot that you must turn on the A.C. THIS is paradise. It is right at the edge or Irvine's urban hub and Newport Beach. It is the ultimate executive stay with lots of activities and fun for the family. If you will be here for awhile, the schools are the best! In fact, we are right down the street from UCI!

Just four miles away is Newport Beach with fabulous seafood restaurants, access to sailing, boating...the Duffy boats are great for a party or celebration...nightlife and some of the world's best beaches. During the holidays, enjoy the Newport Beach Boat Parade. Then, head to Sabatino's Italian Restaurant where the homemade sausage is mouthwatering. Or...hit the Cannery for a view of the water and some of Newport's finest seafood. Afterwards, walk the narrow streets of Newport Beach and pub crawl from one small local place to the next.

If you join us in September, visit the Taste of Newport where we rock out and pig out for three straight days! O yes...and there is wine tasting too!

Travel a bit further south and enjoy Laguna Beach where some of the world's most beautiful coastal areas have been painted and photographed by Laguna's many world renowned artists. If you visit during the Festival of the Arts (July through August), you can enjoy the Pageant of the Masters.

On many whale watching trips, one can see in the 1000s of dolphins along with a whale or two. Just yesterday, the crew at Newport Landing saw 5 whales and 1,900 dolphins....take the family out on a Duffy boat for appetizers, great wine and views of the world's finest beachfront homes.

Performing Arts are just 4 miles away at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Stop a Leatherby's for cocktails and appetizers...then off to the Symphony or a play or Broadway show.

Head north and visit surf contests, sand castle building and volleyball contests at Huntington Beach. Even further north and you can visit the quintessential Santa Monica described here by Everclear. Who knows...you too may find yourself in the surf in your suit!

The wonderful thing about Southern California is skiing in the morning and surfing in the afternoon is entirely possible. We are much closer to the water and beach activities, but if you have time, the local mountains have some fabulous skiing. Irvine is one of the best cities in the world for cycling. We love the ride from our place around the back bay which has incredible vistas. If you are a cross country or snow shoe lover, Mt. San Jacinto has a breathtaking tram ride to the top where you can ski and snow shoe on miles of trails.

If performing arts is your thing, the Orange County Performing Arts Center has it all from Broadway to the Symphony just 4 miles from our place.

Finally, Orange County has some of the finest shopping and dining in the world with Fashion Island and South Coast Plaza are 4 miles away. We do all this stuff so we are a great resource for you.

The third bedroom doubles as a fully equipped office with a futon/couch that folds out into a bed futon style. The fourth sleeping area is the living room couch which has a nice comfy space that sleeps one,

Notes: Housekeeping will be provided following each stay. If you would like weekly or bi-weekly housekeeping, it is available for an additional fee. This is a first floor unit making it perfect for wheelchair accessibility. The home is wired for computer use. Our assumption is that you would prefer to hook up your own laptop, iPad and other devices. If you need a computer, let us know and we will supply one. There is no telephone, but there is good cell reception. The pool is just steps from the lanai and because it is one of the quieter pools, the feeling is like you have your own pool and jacuzzi in your back yard. Right across the street is the San Joaquin Preserve where there are lots of wild birds, ponds and walking trails. There are tennis courts, basketball courts, a playground and clubhouse on the premises.

We had the most amazing stay in Irvine and Lisa's condo. Sure recommendation to anyone who is considering staying at this condo. Excellent location, it is in walking distance from restaurants, grocery store, shopping.
It gave us a feeling of home. Definitely preferred rather than staying at some hotel where you would just sleep and be uncomfortable. You have the liberty to make your own meal, tea or coffee in the kitchen.
The owner, Lisa was great help. She was proactive and answered all our questions. She showed care and commitment.
We already booked this condo for our next visit in May.

The Perfect Place to relax...

We arrived here after a gruelling few days in Hollywood and Disney/Universal Studios. The apartment was spacious, relaxing and luxurious. Everything you needed was available. The pools were a welcome place to cool down and plenty of shops and restaurants were close by.
We thoroughly enjoyed a very relaxing week and would definately return in the future and recommend to family and friends.
