This is a very special little haven, a Maine Camp, located on the Gin Cove Road on Passamaquoddy Bay. The log cabin sits in front of cliffs (with shore access close by) facing an area where the Passamaquoddy Bay and St. Croix River meet. This is the only dwelling on roughly 4,000 ft of frontage ranging from tidal to deep water. Property is surrounded by 85 uninhabited acres of rolling fields and diverse forest; it is like your own world far away from the craziness and stresses of life. Even traveling down the long winding driveway feels as though you are leaving things behind and entering a world of peace and tranquility.

There is truly nothing on earth like lying in a hammock under towering white birches allowing your mind to relax like never before; dosing while your senses are soothed. Listen to the sound of waves lapping at the beach below, feel the cool sea breeze brush over your skin, open your eyes and watch the green leaves gently rustle in front of a clear blue sky overhead.
From the front porch enjoy majestic, colorful sunrises and sunsets. There are grand views looking up and down the bay. Directly across the water, tiny sailboats appear to slowly dance along in front of St. Andrews by-the-sea in New Brunswick, Canada. The red castle like roof of the Fairmount Algonquin Resort is visible; and in the evening the lights of the little sea side village sparkle along with the stars in the vast clear sky unobstructed by light pollution.Canada Day fireworks celebrations can be watched comfortably from the front porch of the camp.
This location is a nature lover’s paradise. Silver Fox and deer have been observed capering down the beautiful wild flower filled fields, which roll easily down to end at the tree lined rocky cliffs that hug the beach below. Seals and loons bob in the waters right in front of the camp and even porpoises have been seen swimming by. Sea birds and Song birds are abundant. Eagles perch in the trees that stand daringly at the edges of the cliffs and osprey can be heard scolding them for being too close to their nests. Wake up to a chorus of song birds, watch hummingbirds visit flowers, and a careful quiet walk might afford one the sight of woodcocks or partridges scurrying beneath the brush.
Although this is truly a Maine Camp, the log cabin has the convenience of on demand hot running water and electricity, NO cable or land-line phone. Appliances include a refrigerator, stove, washing machine, and microwave. There is a clothes line for drying and a monitor heater for when the evenings are cool.
