It has 3 large bedrooms (2 queens and 2 twins), open concept main-level with huge windows and comfortable furniture, washer/dryer, fully-equipped kitchen, a 2-level deck with stunning sunset and ocean views, and a spacious yard for outdoor activities. Endless Sands is in the perfect location, minutes from golf courses, deep-sea fishing, Cavendish attractions and fine/casual dining. Your perfect PEI getaway awaits in this restful cottage close to the sea. Endless Sands cottage overlooks Thunder Cove beach, famous for its soft singing sands, huge sand dunes and dramatic red cliffs. This stunning beach stretches for miles and is the perfect spot for a romantic stroll or a dip in the warm, ocean waters. The beach is an eight minute walk from the cottage or you can park at our private parking spot right at the beach.

This charming 3-bedroom cottage was completely updated with new furniture and linens in 2012. Its 3 large bedrooms have 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds, and full-sized dressers and closets in each room. Fresh, white linens, duvet covers and fluffy, white towels are provided for each guest. The main-level is open concept with huge windows and comfortable furniture - throw open the windows, relax and enjoy the sweet-smelling ocean breeze!

The new 2-level deck provides stunning sunset and ocean views, and boasts lots of room for entertaining. The spacious yard is perfect for outdoor games or an evening marshmallow roast in the fire pit. The kitchen is fully-equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, kettle, pots/pans including a huge lobster pot, and lots of dishes and linens. Other amenities include washer/dryer, large TV, cable, DVD player (and movies), iPod dock/radio, telephone, BBQ, games and books for all ages.

In the perfect location, Endless Sands is located minutes from golf courses, deep-sea fishing, Cavendish attractions and fine/casual dining. Anne of Green Gables makes her spirit felt everywhere on the island – don’t miss one of her attractions! Buy lobsters and other fresh seafood at the fisherman's dock just minutes away. For delicious seafood dinners, Ship to Shore (5 minutes from the cottage) has fish & chips and mussels, and highly recommended are the lobster suppers at Fisherman’s Wharf in North Rustico (well worth the 35 minute drive)!

ENDLESS SANDS IS STRICTLY NON-SMOKING.

PETS ARE WELCOME (with conditions).

Please note that pets are welcome at Endless Sands, but with the following conditions: 1. if allowed on beds, remove and store our comforters and use your comforters from home; 2. cover couch and chair with your sheets brought from home; 3. all hair swept from floor before you leave.

In nearby Stanley Bridge, you will find many craft and pottery shops, daily deep sea fishing excursions and seafood markets,

For traditional island music, dance and stories, do not miss the Malpeque Ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee) occuring every Wednesday evening from 7:30 to 9:30 pm and located just minutes from the cottage in Malpeque.

Golf courses are plentiful on the island, and are impeccably maintained. Closest to the cottage are: Darnley Greens (small par-3) less than 1km, Red Sands (9-hole) 23 km (25 mins), Anderson Creek/Eagles Glenn/Green Gables (par-72) 29 km (30 mins), and The Links at Crowbush Cove (championship) 63 km (1 hour).

Tim Hortons, gas stations, groceries, banks, fast food and other restaurants are less than 10 minutes away in Kensington. In addition to the above, Walmart, Zellers, Canadian Superstore (grocery) and Canadian Tire are 20 minutes away in Summerside.

Booking Deposit: due at time of booking.

For July and August, deposit is $600 and $400 for other months. Remaining total + taxes are due 60 days prior to check-in .

Bookings for multiple weeks can get a discount.
Fees And Taxes 14% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) will be added to all rates.

Additional cleaning rate of $100 if required.
A 60 day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made within 60 days prior to arrival will NOT incur a penalty and deposit will be returned immediately.

Full cancellations (or changes that result in a shorter stay) that are not made within 60 days forfeit full advance payment (unless we can re-rent it ... in which case we will refund 100% deposit).

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (CAD) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

A Relaxing Vacation!

We had such an enjoyable week in this house, we didn’t want to leave! Everything was exactly as it said in the description! The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and we had all the amenities that we would need for the week. We especially loved the welcome basket of goodies. Yummy!

There were so many wonderful touches around the house. Our three girls loved the games and books that were supplied and especially the toy chest. The sand toys and bocce ball set were well-utilized during our week here. We enjoyed the fire pit and the grill and being able to enjoy the quiet mornings on the deck.

One of the best perks of the house was the access to the semi-private beach. We spent time on that beach every day, taking walks, swimming, flying kites and having campfires. The walk to the beach was not long at all, the sand was soft and the water was warm!

We loved the location of the house. It was in a quiet area, but within easy travel of all of the “Anne of Green Gables” activities. It was the best of both worlds for our family. We fell in love with Prince Edward Island - the people, the landscape and the relaxed pace of the island.

At the end of the week, our 10-year-old burst into tears because she didn’t want to leave the house and we all felt the same way! We definitely want to come back to the island and we definitely want to come back to Endless Sands! Thanks, Troy and Robin (and the rest of the family!) for a wonderful week!

Our family had the best vacation here in Darnley PEI. The cottage was just perfect for our family of 5 - so beautiful and comfortable! We walked to the beach every day and rodes our bikes all over. We visited several beaches during our stay and the beach at Thunder Cove really is the best! The kids enjoyed the island and all the games, books & movies in the house. The dog loved lying on the deck all day and running in the yard. Neighbours were so friendly as well. We must highly recommend this cottage to anyone planning a vacation here.
