Book Now For 4th of July Weekend and Duck Creek Days to Lock in These Super Low Off Season Rates for These Peak Holiday Weekends!!!

Welcome to our luxurious new Penthouse Condo in Duck Creek Village, Utah. Enjoy all the comforts of modern architecture tastefully highlighted with local rustic wood accents. Relax on Premium Egyptian Cotton bedding and luxurious pillow top queen size mattresses, in one of the three bedrooms. The master has it's own bath, while the other two rooms share Jack and Jill bathrooms. There is a fourth bathroom for guests.

Make use of the well appointed modern kitchen for entertaining lots of company, as we're equipped to sleep 13, comfortably. Plus, there's lots more room in the loft for kids to throw their sleeping bags down on the extra thick padded carpet. We also provide 2 Queen sized raised pillow top air mattresses for the loft.

Enjoy the view from the extensive windows facing to the south, overlooking Duck Creek Meadow, across from the Village itself. Or walk around the 1600 ft deck that completely surrounds every floor. We regularly count upwards of 50 deer coming into the meadow at dusk, and recently have been entertained by a family of foxes that hunts and plays in the meadow...three evenings in a row on our last visit. You can almost always see a few Red Tail Hawks cruising over the meadow, swooping down occasionally to pull a fish out of the creek, or some tasty morsel from the grassy meadow. Watch for the extremely social marmots that sun themselves on the rocks below. When you decide you want to stretch your legs a bit, take a walk down into the meadow itself, and see where Duck Creek disappears into sink holes on the east edge of the meadow...not to be seen again for 13 miles...where it flows into the Sevier River...Check with Jim our on site manager, he will point you in the right direction. You also may be able to arrange for him to take you on a guided tour of some of the areas lesser known wonders...summer or winter, ATVs or snowmobiles, he can get you there. An added Bonus is that the roads to our Condo are maintained year round.

It's absolutely wonderful to spend July fourth weekend there.. The community is definitely into celebrating with live music, BBQ and whatever else they can come up with.

If you have never experienced Duck Creek Days, You are missing out on an incredible time.. Its a Carnival in the Meadow with lots of different Arts, Crafts and food booths Plus The Famous Duck Creek Village Annual Chili Cook Off!!

Labor Day at Duck Creek

5 of 5
Submitted: September 13, 2010 Stayed: September 2010
Some friends and I came up from California to get out of the heat and smog, We needed a change of scenery and we certainly found a beautiful one. The Duck Creek area is BEEAUUUTIFUL! There is so much wonderful Red Rock scenery and figuring there were many other places that the locals knew about, we asked Sheli who rented the condo to us and James who is the building manager. They told us about the "off the beaten path" places which were great and Sheli even introduced us to some of her friends who have a cabin nearby. We all had a great time and were very comfortable at the condo. It was sooo beautiful with all of the amenities including 4 bathrooms ( a dream come true) a full kitchen with beautiful wood cabinets/drawers. I am a nature guy and i loved this place, it had both aspects of having the amenities plus being in a "earthy" place. Sheli was a great host and was fun to get along with and James "the handyman"/manager who does great woodworking told some good stories and details of the area. I think he has been in the area for many years because he knows it well! It was great to get up early in the A.M. and see the steam come off the meandering Duck Creek and enjoy the surrounding views. One dusk, many deer came out of the forest and were nibbling on the grass. Everybody was in for the evening and the party started for them! The evenings were cool yet comfortable and the mornings were quite crisp, so bring warm clothes! My plan is to go back in Autumn and enjoy the Fall Aspen. Sheli, thank you much for the hospitality and will call on you again for the Colors,

weekend at Duck Creek, Utah

5 of 5
Submitted: September 13, 2010 Stayed: September 2010
Some friends and I went up to Duck Creek over Labor Day (no, we were not pregnant!) We needed some beautiful scenery and cooler temps, to get out of Cali's Central Valley. We were NOT disappointed! the scenery at about 8,600ft. was wonderful, even the drive up from Cedar City driving thru a canyon part of the way was great. This is Red Rock/Canyon Country which is a nice change of pace. Sheer cliffs, Hoodoos, the Virgin River which runs through breathtaking Zion Nat'l Park. Since we figured there would be more to the area than what is on the map, we asked Sheli who rented the condo to us and James who works on the property what off the beaten path places are available. They were quite helpful since they know the area well, especially James who has lived there for many years. The condo itself was very comfortable, it truly was like being at home! It has a full kitchen, large screen tele, comfortable leather couches and lots of wonderful wood for an earthy touch (I loved the wood, I am a nature guy and just loved the wood steps, framing etc.) and very important......4 BATHROOMS! that is a blessing in itself! It was not a good weekend for wildlife except for the last day when a bunch of deer showed up at sundown. Typically there are Elk, Coyote etc. from what Sheli was telling us. One of the cool aspects to the topography was Duck Creek that meandered through the meadow between us and the road. Steam came off it in the A.M. when the Sun would hit it! Would I go back, absitively, Sheli did a great job with the condo and it is central to many great places! Bring warm clothes just in case!

Let me tell you, UNBELIEVABLY FANTASTIC are the words that I can use to describe our trip to this wonderful place. I took my wife for her birthday and I couldn't have chosen a better place. Sheli, the owner, went out of her way to make it special. She even left my wife a gift, WOW! It really felt like home with large bedrooms, beautiful kitchen, modern amenities, and a personal touch from a very thoughtful owner. The pictures are great, but you have to see this beautiful place in person. This place is bigger than many homes! We really enjoyed the location as we woke to a fantastic view of the village, creek, and meadow each day. What a refreshing way to start our days!! One of the best things is how close this place is to Bryce Canyon and Zion. They are both within one hour. We chose Duck Creek as it appeared centrally located on our map and boy were we right on. Couldn't ask for a better place to be in Southern Utah. Locally, Duck Creek offers so much within just minutes of the condo. Cedar Breaks National Monument, Navajo Lake, Cascade Falls, and Strawberry Point can all be seen in one day. If you're coming from the city and just want to relax and see plenty of wildlife and really feel some peace and tranquility, this is the place to be. At the end of long days sightseeing, it was great to come back to a modern, clean, comfortable place that really felt like home. We BBQ'd, relaxed on the deck during the meteor shower and had campfires on a couple of nights. The on site manager was helpful, informative and always available for us. We are thankful that we found such a great place to stay. Sheli, was both personable and professional and we liked that a lot. See you again next time! Thank you again Sheli!

Our 4th of July vacation

What an incredible time we had! Our extended family joined my wife, son, and I, so we had 12 people staying together at the condo, but nobody felt crowded...or ever had to wait for a bathroom. We were able to go to Cedar Breaks, Navajo Lake, and Panguitch Lake our first day there. The next day was spent being amazed at the sights of Bryce Canyon. We spent day three at Zion...I want to go back there and spend a lot more time hiking. With all the activities we enjoyed during the daytime, the evenings spent together at the condo allowed us to re energize for each days next adventure. My wife loved the gourmet kitchen, and I enjoyed burning a few steaks on the BBQ out front. The kids loved being able to make S'mores at the fire pit, and being able to see so many stars. Thanks to Sheli for the hospitality basket with the S'more makings, and lots of other convenient snacks. (they were a huge hit with the kids) The kids even made friends with one of the local Marmots. They aptly named him "Chubbers". (It didn't look like he missed many meals) The whole family enjoyed being able to gather in the front room, loft, and deck, enjoying being able to reminisce while being surrounded with such natural beauty, and deliciously comfortable temperatures...What a relief, coming from Vegas! We've already made plans to come back to see the Aspen leaves change colors this fall...Can't wait!
