HAMPTONS 4 BEDROOM BRIGHT AND OPEN HOME WITH POOL

Was incredibly lucky to enjoy good weather and all the perks of this lovely home. The listing description and photos are accurate but we felt they underestimated some of the best features. The location is super convenient, at the end of a quiet residential block in an upscale development. There are woodlands behind the house so although the property is fairly close to the highway, the tall trees afford the backyard plenty of privacy. Favorite feature, by far, is the layout of the house. The huge master suite and bath are separated from the other three bedrooms by the incredible kitchen and living room. The design of the house maximizes ambient light and this open plan really made socializing a delight. The kitchen was huge and a chef's dream, but the best part was being able to cook while my friends sat at the counter or hung out in the adjacent sitting area. This layout is terrific for friends traveling together, who might want some space or privacy, but is also ideal for a family, who will appreciate the layout, too. The front yard has a lush lawn and the backyard has been professionally landscaped, including a pool that was ideal for a summer stay. The deck has a generous-sized outdoor table and the gas grill was perfect for whipping up some cheeseburgers, hotdogs, and mahi mahi. Jo was very helpful, giving us some time to settle in and then checking in to make sure nothing was needed. We did venture out for a drive to visit adjacent towns, but having gotten stuck in traffic, were grateful for a quiet and lovely home that we were more than happy to relax and enjoy. Hampton Bays has two large grocery stores, a movie theater, and a lovely antique store (the Good Ground Antique Center). My recommendations: pack a good book and some sunscreen because you won't want to leave the pool! If you plan to cook or grill, the kitchen is extremely well-appointed and it was a pleasure to eat outside. Lastly, the neighborhood provides a nice wide road for a walk or a short loop for a run.
