DOWNTOWN GRAND BEND - AWARD WINNING LUXURY 5 BEDROOM HOME, WALK TO EVERYTHING!

We had a group of 11 stay at this amazing home over the labour day long weekend. The listing was described accurately and it was clean and well-maintained. The neighbours were great, and offered to help us when they saw we were unable to turn the torch lights on outside. Having never been to Grand Bend we really enjoyed the area and loved that it was a 5min walk to the beach. Our only complaint is that the main floor bathroom lock didn't work. Also, the master bedroom bathroom door didn't either, but we were ok with it. A simple knock to make sure no one was inside was enough.

The owner provided great customer service, and answered all of our questions. She was very easy to deal with as well. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay in this area. The house is beautiful and has everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Our only suggestion to the owners are minor ones. 1) to have more cleaning supplies available for renters. 2) to provide an inventory list for each guest upon arrival, to make sure nothing is missing at the end of each stay.

We stayed at this very spacious and stunningly-decorated house for 3-days in July. Our extended family of 12 adults + kids were very comfortable and wished we had stayed longer. It was conveniently located - a short walk from the beach, and a short drive to the shops on Main Street as well as Sobey's, Tim Hortons, No Frills and the Beer Store among other conveniences. Despite its central location, the house and outdoor eating area was very intimate and private.

Having 4 stunning bathrooms all equipped with shower stalls helped to get everyone showered quickly after our frequent trips to the beach (a short 5 min walk away). It was a pleasant surprise to have ample hot-water despite having taken 12 showers within the span of a half-hour.

Our food-loving family and our many chefs enjoyed cooking up a storm in the beautiful kitchen with its high-end appliances as well as the nice BBQ/patio area. It was a well-equipped and spacious kitchen open to the family & dining rooms -- allowing us to all comfortably spend time together. The TVs on the main and lower levels are equipped with Apple TV and basic cable.

We didn't have any real complaints. With an active two-year-old, we did wish we had barriers to the two sets of stairs leading to the basement and upstairs. We didn't bring our play pen along -- but wished we had - it would have been useful for nap times and as a barricade for the stairs. The bathrooms with two entrances did cause some commotion as we had trouble working the locks -- but this definitely could have been user-error on our parts. ;) The house did get warm a few times -- especially the rooms upstairs (but this could be attributable to the storm we were cooking up).

For a family-oriented activity, we highly recommend the Starlite Drive-In theatre (bring lawn-chairs, blankets and bug-repellant). The kids were disappointed to hear that the local corn maze doesn't open until August (and that its weather-dependent).

Overall, we loved our short stay and look forward to coming back! We would rate it with 4.5 stars (if we were able to give half stars!).

The house was great. Beautiful outside and in gorgeous house overall and right by the beach wich worked out great. Very open and roomy for 12 people. Very easy to fit everyone in. Neighbors are great and very polite everyone is easy to approach and the neighborhood is great.
