We will be coming back because... first, the owner Elizabeth:
She is charming and wonderful, just like her cozy place. We talked on the phone for an hour once and I felt like she was a friend that wanted me to be as comfortable as possible. She answered all my questions and more. It was always a pleasure to received an e-mail from her. They mailed us the cottage key, so we relaxed about our arrival and getting in.
She made sure we had few items like good olive oil and vinegar, fresh coffee beans, spices, sugar, etc... and I have to say that the pots and pans will make you jealous with envy. Her husband's parents used to have a kitchen store. There is an island on wheels that you can move around to cook practically and with the best view.
We will be coming back because... another first:
The one bedroom cottage is adorable and romantic. You have the feeling of being in a boathouse at high tide and you can take great walks at low tide. The boats that you saw floating far away at high tide lay on the sand at low tide when you will see the owner tend to them. There is a large deck with a table and beach chairs, where we spend most of our time watching the ocean and the birds. The bedroom is small but cozy with a very comfortable double bed and a much nicer bedspread than the one appearing on the picture.
The colors and the light in Provincetown explain why there are so many artists, I could not stop taking pictures.
We had lunch during a storm at Fannizzi's and the water came crashing in the windows, quite a show. Another must is whale watching, we had the best experience, there were so many and so close. We had the privilege to share our cruise with war veterans. Very touching!
We will be coming back… because we were enchanted.
