There is a spacious bedroom with a comfortable Queen-size bed with cozy duvet cover and a modern bath with ample storage. The apartment is located on the main floor of a duplex and there are only two steps down to the front door.

The USS Turner Joy is a floating museum operated by the Bremerton Historic Ships Association. Moored at the north end of the boardwalk, the ship can be explored topside and below decks. She is the last of the Forrest Sherman class destroyers, built in Seattle & commissioned in 1959, decommissioned in 1982. The tour also includes a Vietnam POW memorial.
Kitsap County Historical Society Museum, located just three blocks from the ferry terminal, reveals the rich history of Bremerton and Kitsap County. Museum exhibits include a model of a logging camp and scale models depicting early storefronts. Rotating exhibits display various aspects of the county's history.

Ballard Locks (Hiram H. Chittenden Locks)
Thanks to Army Corps of Engineers district chief Hiram Chittenden, boats have had an easy route from Lake Union and Lake Washington to the Puget Sound for nearly 100 years. Today, visitors atop swinging walkways watch the vessels’ progress and also have a special viewing window for the fish ladder – a 21-step structure that helps fish safely move to and from saltwater to freshwater.

I am originally from Germany and relocated to the US in 1970. I spent 21 years in the US Air Force and lived mostly overseas. Traveling all over the world I have lived in many temporary/vacation rentals and learned what not to do. It is my goal to provide clean, comfortable and reasonably priced vacation rentals to travelers.
This property is located just a block from the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Naval Base Kitsap. We are also in walking distance to the Seattle Ferry making this location perfect for visitors with or without transportation.
We very much enjoyed our 10 day stay in the very clean, well appointed and furnished apartment. It was quiet and centrally located for travel on the Ferry and access to good restaurants as well as big enough to entertain some local family members for a carry-in dinner. We enjoyed the European feel of the space with nice wooden floors and simple décor. The space, even though compact, gave us the freedom to spread out our two laptops and feel like we were in a permanent space rather than a hotel room.
The listing description and photos were very accurate and provided everything we needed for a 10 day stay. The property was very clean and well maintained and we had excellent customer service from the manager. Even though our renal car ended up being too large to fit into the provided space the manager gave us her private parking permit so that we could park across the street from the unit.
We would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone needing either short or long term furnished apartment. If we return to the area; we will definitely plan to stay here again.
This particular time was quite stressful for us since our new house, which was being built, was not ready for occupation and we had quite a bit of work to finish before we could hand over our old house to the new owners. It was especially pleasant to call Renate's apartment our temporary home. It was clean, well kept and nicely equipped. In other words, it was perfect for our needs at that time. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to friends and relatives should they need a nice place to stay in the Bremerton area. The rate was very reasonable for such a centrally located apartment, especially for an extended stay.
Staying at this apartment was an excellent, alternative choice to a hotel. The owner went out of her way to provide quality, personal service to me both before and during my stay. She was extremely responsive to all questions I had. After flying in, I arrived to the location very late at night and was initially a bit lost in finding the apartment. I contacted her and within ten minutes, she met me at a local gas station and escorted me to the apartment. She also was very generous in allowing me to use her personal garage for my rental car. The apartment was 1-bedroom, extremely clean, fully-equipped, and in a safe neighborhood. One advantage was that it was a 5-minute walk to the Bremerton ferry and literally around the corner from the Shipyard. I couldn't have asked for anything better and the price was comparable to what I would have paid at local hotels. These apartments are normally rented out for mid-and short-term stays and I can readily see why they would be popular. Unquestionably I would look at staying here again. I was very happy with my choice and commend the owner for her outstanding customer service.
I have to say that this was the best place to stay after I got married. It was very clean and had a very home feeling to it. It was also great for my husbands job since he is in the Navy it was the best commute to work. I will totally come back here and stay and recommend it to all my friends and family.

Seattle's famous Space Needle & Pike Place Market are just a ferry ride away over the magnificent Puget Sound. This growing area offers just about anything you want to do in an award winning town. The city of Bremerton has recently been voted one of America's most livable cities. There is lots to see and do in Bremerton. Take a leisurely stroll along the Boardwalk, enjoy a tour of the historic USS Turner Joy, visit Harborside Fountain Park and PSNS Memorial Plaza, spend the afternoon browsing through Bremerton's historic Arts District and unique shops. Harborside Fountain Park is one of the Puget Sound region's most impressive public spaces. Located on the waterfront, just steps away from the Kitsap Conference Center, the park features five large copper-ringed fountains, wading pools, and lush landscaping. Bremerton Ice Arena Ice Skating Rink was founded in 2002, and is an indoor rink and open year round. The historic Admiral Theatre was transformed by a magnificent renovation and reopened in 1997. The 1942 movie house is a one-of-a-kind performance venue for a wide variety of events. The main floor accommodates as many as 300 for sit-down dinners, or up to 500 in festival style or traditional theater seating and 502 seats available in the balcony.
Illahee State Park is just a short drive from the apartments and offers saltwater frontage on Port Orchard Bay. 'Illahee' means 'earth' or 'country' in the Indian tradition, and views of Puget Sound from the Illahee beach give the viewer a sense of what that word meant to native people. The park has plenty of parking space, lots of fresh air, facilities for a number of outdoor activities and access to a variety of water sports.
And if you love golf, don't miss the City owned Gold Mountain Golf Complex, rated one of the best public golf courses in the country, several challenging courses nearby and a driving range with a putting course just a short drive from the apartment.
