Casa De Las Palmas is a pet friendly vacation rental, located at St Augustine beach on Anastasia Island, Florida, close by Butler Beach. Just a short drive, cycle (on bikes we provide) or walk from the beautiful stretch of white sand that runs from Crescent beach in the south, to Anastasia State Park in the North & only approximately a 10 minute drive from the beach rental house to the ancient city of St Augustine. The location of Casa De Las Palmas makes it ideal as a beach retreat for those in need of pet friendly accommodations from a vacation rental, or those who want to be close to the beach. Casa De Las Palmas is a home from home, where we are sure you will enjoy your vacation at St Augustine Beach. The furnishings new in 2012 and 2011 comprises two leather sofas, lazy boy style recliner, 42 plasma TV (with Satellite TV), high quality beds (King, Queen & Twins), patio furniture, sun loungers and a newly installed wood laminate floor. The kitchen has all the equipment you would expect, refrigrator with ice maker, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker etc.
Having a pet ourselves and having struggled with the problems of vacationing with your best friend(s), we understand your need for a good quality, very clean, pet friendly vacation rental. That is why we have installed a dog run, fenced in the complete rear and side yards with a 6ft fence & installed an outdoor shower, which is ideal for both you or your pet to cool down or clean off the sand after a relaxing day on the beach..

Our beach house, Casa De Las Palmas, named for the 2 large palm trees next to the driveway is a lovely one level single family modern home with high ceilings, central A/C, heat, south facing back yard for sunbathing and covered back porch (for shade when you want it). In fact, you will find all the conveniences you would expect and more for your vacation. As well as being well located for convenient beach access, it is also just a short bike ride, drive or walk from your beach retreat to a number of bars and restaurants, such as Hurricanes Grill, The Purple Olive, Salt Water Cowboys, The World Famous Oasis & Napoli Italian restaurant. Be sure to check out the happy hours at all these great restaurants.....you may find you like island life so much, you wont want to leave.
St Augustine Beach boasts one of the loveliest beaches in Florida, approximately 10 miles long from Anastasia Island to Summer Haven, it is a pet friendly & car friendly beach. Pets are allowed on the beach, as long as they are on a leash and you clean up after them. There is a car trail marked along the back of the beach, usually year round, it is allowable to park on the beach, which does mean the ultimate in easy access for all your beach toys, coolers, grills etc. The vacation rental is a very short drive to the vehicle beach entrance at Dondanville Rd.
To make beach life even easier for you, we provide beach chairs, a cooler, sun umbrella, a boogie board. & 2 beach bikes.
From your house at the beach, it is only a 15 minute drive along A1A on Anastasia Island, to the old city of St Augustine, which is full of vibrant American and colonial history. Here you can enjoy an old town trolley tour or a ghost town walk, explore the 16th Century fort, savor the jazz music at the cigar bar or rock the night away at Tradewinds bar, amongst many other activities. For a romantic evening, why not take a ride in a horse drawn carriage around the city or spend the evening dining on a moonlight cruise.
