After a career in engineering and environmental consulting, Rob spent the past decade helping develop Seattle's Columbia City neighborhood. Columbia City offers so much, but it hasn't had enough lodging choices. Rob and his wife Shelley bought the property from the grandson of the gentleman who built the apartment in 1935, and are committed to continuing a tradition of hospitality.
Columbia City is well situated in Southeast Seattle ... halfway between SeaTac Airport and downtown, readily accessible by transit, close to beautiful Lake Washington, with great turn-of-the century building stock, and friendly people.
The Columbia City neighborhood has lots to offer. There are 19 restaurants, pubs, wine bars, & coffee shops within just 3 blocks of the apartment. Unique retail stores & bookshops define the neighborhood. You’ll also find:
• Yoga studios & fitness gym
• Local farmers’ market
• Live music and stage venues
• Historic Walking Tour
• National Register Carnegie Library
