This beach front one story 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooom home is located within the private gated community of Monterey Dunes Colony. The home is at the end of the Colony and offers expansive sweeping views of the ocean. This private end unit offers a quiet secluded getaway perfect for those wishing to relax and unwind at the beach. Walk down a private boardwalk through the flowering dunes and arrive at a mile long white sand beach. Enjoy long walks on the beach, shell collecting, birdwatching, or just playing in the sand.

If your looking for more activity, the clubhouse offers tennis courts, basketball, volleyball, shuffleboard, bocci ball, a heated swimming pool (from Easter to October) and hot tub.

For those wishing to explore, the home is located just south of Moss Landing harbor which offers, antiquing, wonderful local restaurants and markets, kayacking, and wildlife tours. We are also loacted within 25 minutes of Monterey's Cannery Row, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the Dennis the Menace Park, Carmel by the Sea, 17 Mile Drive, and world renouned golf courses such as Pebble Beach and Spanish Bay. These areas offer shopping, art galleries, wine tastings, and gourmet dining.

The home offers spectacular ocean vews from the kitchen, dining room, living room and master bedroom. Private ocean front deck off of living room and master bedroom to enjoy the views and sea air. Private enclosed patio area leading to garage for easy unloading of personal items.

Home sleeps 6 comfortably. Master bedroom has king sized bed and new flat screen TV. We purchased this home after vacationing at the Monterey Dunes Colony for the last five years. It is a beautiful ocean front development which is impecably maintained. We especially love this unit as it as the last unit on the property and therefore offers additional privacy, seclusion, and expansive views of the ocean.

Perfect Beach Getaway

My husband and I stayed at this beach home with our two children, ages 3 and 9 months. The home was clean and nicely decorated, but not cluttered. It was wonderful to rent a home that had items for our children. The kitchen was well stocked. The only thing we felt it was missing was an additional pot. The beds were extremely comfortable.
You couldn't have asked for a better location. End unit, right on the beach.
The owners were wonderful to work with. They were quick to respond and extremely helpful. We want to thank the Davis family for letting us rent their home. We will definitely rent this home again.

Our March 25 -29 Monterey Stay

This was an excellent place to relax and enjoy a terrific vacation with my sisters. The home is comfortably furnished and very clean. The location of the condo within the complex is perfect because it is very private since it is at the end of the community.
We did travel to Moss Landing and had dinner at The Whole Enchilada which was very good. We tried to get to Phil's Seafood restaurant because everyone talked about how good the food is but we ran out of time.
The Fisherman's Grotto on Monterey wharf was excellent and the weather was perfect.
Our trip was a total success and I would highly recommend the condo to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing stay. We certainly plan another trip here.

Pleasantly private and beautiful views

Having rented at Monterey Dunes Colony for 15+ years, we couldn't have been more pleased with this "new rental" for another stay. Incredibly clean, nicely updated and appointed helped add this rental to our favorites list! The comfy bed in the master bedroom made me feel like I was staying in a four-star hotel! We slept so good with the patio door cracked and listening to the ocean waves and breathing in that crisp ocean air! Lovely walks on the beach each morning, followed by relaxing on the deck taking in the peaceful and scenic surroundings. And oh, did I mention how we ended each day with a toast to the incredible sunsets! Then enjoying the rising moonlight streaming through the Cypress trees. Ahhhh. Wishing I was there right now. Thank you Davis family for sharing your special oceanfront home.

This is a great place to stay. You can't get better than being on the beach and the house is very comfortable. It was clean and nice. Everything was as stated. Will definitely use again if availably.
