The Turkey Ridge Ranch cabin is beautifully situated among the trees overlooking Lake Roosevelt. With beautiful views and fenced-in privacy, this cabin is truly unique to the area. Located within minutes of the lake’s recreation areas and marinas, the cabin offers access to local entertainment while providing all the comforts of home.

With a full bedroom on the main floor and an upstairs loft, each boasting a double bed, the cabin comfortably sleeps four people. A well-equipped kitchen, stocked with cookware and appliances affords guests the freedom to prepare their own food. The cabin also includes a private deck with outdoor grill and seating area.

About Chris

Chris & Randy have been the owners and caretakers of Turkey Ridge Ranch since 2005. Both have been devoted to animal welfare, nature, and wellness all of their lives.

As a young girl, Chris began rescuing animals, saving her pennies to secretly buy and raise hamsters in her bedroom closet. Randy realized what he was getting into when they began dating and he found himself sleeping on a cat pillow! Soon after, Chris brought home a lost baby duck that ended up floating in the bathtub for a week.

Over the years, there has never been a dull moment, and Chris & Randy have enjoyed every bit of it.

Why Chris chose Davenport

After living in the Seattle area for a number of years, they decided it was time for a lifestyle change, and moved to eastern Washington. Creating Turkey Ridge Ranch on 27 beautiful acres overlooking Lake Roosevelt, Chris & Randy intended it to be a personal refuge for animals and people alike. In the beginning, Chris bought two alpacas, and Randy bought a Harley-Davidson. Years later, there are now 12 alpacas and numerous motorcycles…but Chris is still ahead by any count!

What makes this cabin unique

Their combined experience with wellness and environmental harmony allow Chris & Randy to focus the Ranch’s spirit on mindfulness and connection with nature. Chris is a licensed therapist, working with children, families, and women’s issues. She is also currently a board member of the Spokane Humane Society. Randy is an environmental consultant, and has worked on several major environmental projects in eastern Washington and Spokane. Together, they have created a place where their animal family can grow and enjoy a safe haven, while guests and visitors can commune with nature.
