Perfect place to crash!

This home is located in the heart of Port Austin and the surrounding Tip 'o the Thumb vacation area. Just outside our doorstep is the County Park with a beautiful white sand beach to swim, sunbathe, and watch sunsets from and playgrounds for the grandkids. In fact, my oldest grandson caught his very first fish...an 8 inch walleye...just outside the back door in the Bird Creek canal.
The facilities were superb and comfortable and we were able to zip to and fro to the ice cream shops, putt-putt golf, go-cart tracks, fun-slides, water attractions, tennis, golfing, bike-riding, etc, etc, etc and then pile back into the van for the short hop back to rest and relaxation.
Even in the confusion of the farmer's market, it was great to just walk to town to enjoy the offerings and be jostled in the crowds not having to fret about where to park or having to figure the best way back to camp or cottage outside of town.
The weather was perfect but had it been less so, the home would be a haven where we had planned to enjoy the family with indoor pursuits if need be. we had a spectacular week!
The ONLY thing missing was a fire circle to enjoy campfire treats and stories around.
