The Golden Eagle Vacation Cottages in nature lovers' paradise are ideal 2-person cottages located just 60 miles south of the Oregon border across from Patricks Point State Park, a fabulous shoreline park with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Wildlife abounds on both land and sea. This is a Mecca for bird watching with over 400 species. Enjoy hiking, boating, beach combing, antiquing, whale watching, river rafting and more while staying in beautiful cottage featuring the modern of 'today' with the quaintness of 'yesteryear'. The small town of Trinidad is a charming picturesque fishing village located on Trinidad Bay and has a fishing pier, restaurant and small food market

The Cottages were Designed for Two! They have wonderfully comfortable foam-memory mattresses, full kitchens, beautiful built-in 'picture' fireplaces. The grounds are beautiful and feature a Zen-like pond and rock garden with three cascading waterfalls.

Notes: Beautiful water pond feature with three waterfalls makes for a lovely outdoor wedding ceremony for small party. Five Cottages with two adults per cottage provides accommodations for ten if booked well in advance. Outdoor smoking okay. We do have one unit which is ADA compliant, and wheelchair accessible.

New Cottages with a Park-Like Setting-Gardens

We had an amazing time in Trinidad, Ca. last week! We were blessed with great weather and our gracious hosts Marke and his mother Joan. Be sure to ask Joan about some of the interesting art pieces in the foyer. We opened the door to the exceptionally clean cottage and discovered a nice bottle of wine and fresh flowers on the table. The kitchen is beautiful and well stocked for cooking, enjoying a cocktail, etc. We chose to eat out and Trinidad has wonderful restaurants. The Larrupin on Patrick's Point Drive just a few miles south was delicious and the heated outdoor patio was filled with people smiling and having a great time. We went on a couple of miles further south and discovered the brand new Trinidad Harbor Seascape and we had a wonderful dinner there the next night! The view coming down to the harbor is spectacular and you can walk over to a sandy beach! Once back at our cottage we decided to take the short walk down Patrick's Point Drive to Patrick's Point State Park. There is a path that takes you into the Park and its breathtaking shoreline they are famous for. Our landlords spared nothing on the bedding and the bed was first class comfort! I look forward to seeing them again within the year!

Totally satisfied with this rental property/owner

This property is brand-new and well thought out. Everything in the cabin is up todate, and high quality. Mark & Joan are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. The location is perfect for traveling around Humboldt County. The setting is serene and quiet. Mark has done a wonderful job landscaping this property. I would recommend this rental to everyone I know, and give it five stars.
