CHARMING, STYLISH 2BR PENTHOUSE.AMAZING TERRACES.EXQUISITE DECORATION

As this was our first time in Barcelona we had no idea what to expect. We have been truly delighted with our choice of this amazing apartment. Eli met us at the apartment and made sure that we knew how everything worked and where everything was. She gave us suggestions for shopping and eating in the neighbourhood. The apartment is perfect for two couples. The bedrooms, are separated by the living /dining space and a fully equipped kitchen, which affords each couple nice privacy. Each bedroom is a good size, has its own bathroom, as well as great storage space. There are two balconies, one off each bedroom, both of which are large enough for four, with patio furniture for dining or just enjoying the views.The neighbourhood is calm and serene, just far enough away from the busy old section of town, but close enough for walking to the sights. We enjoyed getting off the subway, after a busy day with lots of people, into our quiet neighbourhood. There are two subway stops very close to the apartment - Rocafort and Urgell, making it very easy to get anywhere in a very short time. The proximity of everything makes this the perfect place from which to explore Barcelona without a car. There is a Suma grocery store right across the street, a lovely bakery next door, fruit and vegetable markets all around, and a pharmacy around the corner. We had several nice meals at "Theseo" - left out of the apartment two blocks down around the corner. Our eleven days in Barcelona passed all too quickly and were made all that much more pleasant by our stay in your apartment - it was everything we had hoped for and more. Thank you Valentin. Great apartment - fully equipped from garbage bags to spectacular terraces (yes, two!). short walk to the old city centre, or around the corner to the metro station. super helpful owner, right down to restaurant recommendations. don't miss the charming restaurant la tata, a block away! We will love to return.

We just stayed at this beautiful apartment from December 28 to Jan. 3! It was a fantastic experience. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated with several antique chandeliers and beautiful colors throughout. There are two bedrooms with the kitchen/sitting room in between - affording a family of 4 privacy. Each bedroom has it's own toilet area and a shower (no bathtubs in the apartment). The appliances are top notch as well as brand new washer and dryer in the apartment! We had two terraces as this is the top floor penthouse apartment of the building, that was very private and beautiful with brand new patio furniture on both terraces. There is a smalll grocery store across the street and a cute bakery right next door. The apartment was immaculately clean - all the dishes, silverware, sheets and towels were perfect. I am very picky and I had no complaints! The owner, Valentin was very helpful in showing us how to work everything and ideas of where to go for New Year's Eve as well as local restaurants and local food traditions in the area. The area itself was quiet and safe and well within a 15 minute walking distance of La Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya, etc. We would highly recommend it and want to come back and stay at this apartment again.
